This doctor starts out nice, but really he is after the money. Also, my teeth are still not straight! After all that money! It's not right. I had a cleaning and exam, and I only saw a hygenist, never once did he come in during my "exam."

A very congenial doctor with lovely facilities. You may find him a bit expensive, but I have no major complaints.

I grew up in the area and have been to a number of dentists around here, and Dr Ryan was recommended to me and is by far the best dentist I have come across. I have had some major cosmetic and preventative work done and the results have been outstanding. I recently had several crowns replaced by Dr Ryan that my old dentist originally did, and the outcome is better than I imagined. Let's just say I won't be going back to my old dentist. The hygienists are also the best I've encountered; they are highly professional and actually care about your short and long-term oral hygiene needs. It's plainly noticeable that the practice cares about you as a patient and wants to ensure your receive the best results. I couldn't recommend anyone else higher than Dr Ryan and his hygienists.
About Hygienist: The hygienists are extremely caring and go out of their way to make sure you have and maintain the best oral hygiene possible. They are professional and personable; which is a trait not typically exerted by hygienists. I actually look forward to my regular cleanings.

Dr. Ryan does not take time during visits to address potential treatment. He came in during the cleaning session to dedicate five minutes of his precious time. The hygienist was not able to finish cleaning my teeth because she has only one hour allocated and took a long time to do a periodontic evaluation which I did not want in first place. I decided to find a new dentist and I am glad I did.

Dr. Ryan is a great dentist but our experience is that patients will often be asked to see a much less experienced associate. This was the case even when we were specifically told at the time of the appointment that it would be with Dr. Ryan. Further the cost was the same for the less experienced dentist.

Dr Ryan recommended I replaced my amalgam fillings with composite fillings. I asked why I needed them changed and was told because they were old and the newer composite fillings would be better for my teeth. One of my fillings was only a couple of years old so I was surprised it needed to be changed so soon. Also, I was surprised that Dr Ryan recommended I replace my large amalgam fillings located in two back molars with composite fillings. Because amalgam fillings can withstand very high chewing loads, they are particularly useful for restoring molars in the back of the mouth where chewing load is greatest. Whereas composite fillings provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations that need to withstand moderate chewing pressure. Since my molars are subject to very high chewing pressures and the filling area was very large I did not feel like the composite fillings recommended by Dr Ryan was a wise choice. I feel he recommended an unnecessary procedure just to pad my bill. My brother had also gone to see Dr Ryan and was told he needed to get all of his amalgam fillings replaced also. My new dentist says that all of my amalgam fillings are intact and do not need to be changed.

Dr. Ryan is by far the best dentist. I actually enjoy going to the dentist. His staff is so accommodating and friendly. The hygienists are so gentle....and warm and sincere. I would go every week for a touch up, if I could. I've had cavaties filled and crownes and a couple of other things...zero pain. It's important for Dr. Ryan to be on top of the technology game. I don't have insurance and they are very flexible when it comes to payment. I didn't think they were very expensive....especially after the pleasurable experience. I can't say enough of great things about this Dr. and I HIGHLY recommend him. Veneers are next on my "to-do" list when them.
