I've been going to Dr. Winkler and his associates since my family moved to Springfield 14 years ago. I have never had an issue with them. They don't do unnecessary procedures, overcharge, or anything like that. Dr. Winkler is the nicest man and always remembers me, not just my name but where I went to school and such too, and makes you feel at home. I would recommend him and his staff to everyone.

I suffered with tooth pain for over 3 years before finally making it in to see Dr. Winkler. Quite frankly, my previous dentist was terrible and instilled a deep seeded fear of dentists within me that was very difficult to overcome. I was more willing to deal with the pain in my tooth than have to go back to a dentist again.
After receiving Dr. Winkler's name from a friend I finally gave in and made my appointment. The anxiety I felt was so fierce I was near tears in the waiting room. Everyone from the young woman at the front desk to Dr. Winkler and the Hygienist were thoughtful and took care to make me as comfortable as possible... which was not an easy task.
All in all, it was an overall good experience and I'm headed back in a couple of weeks for another routine visit... with much less anxiety!
About Hygienist: The hygienist that I saw was outstanding. She was gentle and quick yet thorough. I wish I could recall her name, because she personally put me at ease and took care to inform Dr. Winkler of my fears and prepare him for the basket case he was going to be seeing :)

Dr. Winkler and his staff are very professional and friendly. My family changed from another dental group that had "rough" hygentist. The hygentists we saw were great. Will continue our care with Dr. Winkler.

My family & I have been a patient of Dr WInkler & his father (now retired) for 25+ years. I've had all sorts of work done - many regular checkups, serious root canals/fillings & sealants. They are so gentle! No pain at all, and the work is the best quality. I could fall asleep during procedures that is how nice/gentle they are, and their work lasts. I've never had a problem in the 25+ years that I've been going there, and my teeth were 3rd-world country poor when I first went there. My dental work has never broken or failed or had any troubles. Staff is great - they make everything easy with billing/insurance and appointment scheduling. Hygienists are terrific too. They remember people very well, even though they might only see them twice a year or less. Dr Winkler and his office are great for children, and those adults of us who want to be treated as gently as a child.
Most importantly - Dr Winkler and his office are honest. They do not pressure you to get dental work done that you don't need. They explain procedures, duration and longevity for teeth situations, so you can make an educated decision in your care. He is my favorite doctor!
ps: plenty of free parking, & the office is easy to get to which is important
