I have been going to this dentist since about 1995 and has been very satisfied with the professional services and treatment I receive and continue to receive.
I had very good success with the treatment, pain relief, and many other services. Dr Wong cares for his patients and I relish his advice.
His staff is very pleasant and I would recommend this establishment to any one seeking general dentist services.

I have been a customer for about 4 years and still can't figure out why I continued to go. My first visit was delightful but it continually went down hill after that. My last encounter with this office was enough to set me on the search for a new dentist! I had to schedule an appointment due to a tooth giving me so much pain I couldn't speak without taking multiple Tylenol's. When I called back with my new insurance information I found that I had been removed from the schedule because my situation was not an emergency. Even with the severe pain they would not put me back on the schedule because I didn't have swelling. To make matters worse the receptionist said that Dr. Wong would not recommend a different dentist for me...even though he could not see me within the next four days! Horrible Horrible Horrible! I will never return and beware if you decide to go here.

This dentist is was part of the Aetna Dental HMO. He charged extra office visit fees that were not covered by the Co-pay in an attempt to compensate for his negotiated fees. We also chose him because he had an office in Plano. For one service he requested my wife see him in Carollton instead. She agreed and then after the fact, for her next visit, was then told she could only go to the Carollton office for future visits.
He always seemed like he was more in a rush to get to his next patient. His cleaning were adequate at best.

Dr. Wong Nelson is very knowledgeable and professional. He was very good at explaining his treatment plan and care options. His staff on the other hand was well below average. Except for one of the staff members, I found them cool, unfriendly and unhelpful. They did not seem to try to help with making appts or explain charges. The answers were "that's how we do it here." Because of his poor staff, I switched to another dentist. The only services I had done there was teeth cleaning. I normally get my teeth cleaned every 4-6 months and his hygienist missed spots and did ony a fair job and was also not very friendly.
Dr. Wong gets a 4 star for his attitude, bedside manner and professionalism, his staff gets one star. His office hours are also limited 8 am- 3 pm weekdays and closed weekends.

Dr. Wong's has provided wonderful preventive care for me for several years. His staff is efficient and courteous. I have had no problems with insurance claims. After shopping around the DFW area, I am more than satisfied with his and his office's service.
