i went in for my first time appointment today to see Dr. Lata G. Beri on Garvey in El Monte.... during my x-ray, i told them i had 2 very bad teeth that had holes and the nerve was exposed. i have bad teeth and i have been trying to get them fixed, but i lost my insurance, for a very long time, and i finally got my insurance back and hurried and made an appointment. As the hygienist was taking x-rays, Dr. Beri asked me if i was taking anything for the pain, i said no. Dr. Beri said " then you are in no pain" and left the room. the hygienist, after taking the x-ray took me to another room, where dr. came in. when she looked into my mouth(as i stated i have bad teeth and i know this and am embarrassed of my teeth) she said right away "oh yeah, this is just a mess in here" which i found very un-professional... so of course, i was offended and asked her why cant my teeth just all be pulled? she got VERY angry with me and said "Medi-Cal doesn't pay for that and i will not do what you are telling me to do" i said, i never once told you to pull them, i asked if they all could be pulled. SHE REFUSED ME, AND KICKED ME OUT OF HER OFFICE. SHE IS UNBELIEVABLY RUDE, WOULD NOT LISTEN TO MY QUESTIONS, OVER-TALKED ME WHEN I TRIED TO TALK. RUDE!!
About Front Desk: she acted like she didn't know what she was doing.
About Hygienist: she was just as rude as the dentist... I LEFT THEIR CRYING OF PURE HUMILIATION....

Dr Beri was GREAT! I would recommend her to anybody. She is an excellent doctor .The procedures she did for me were complex but she handled with lot of expertise and the result was complete success. It was painless and very relaxing.Compared to other dentist her charges are also not much.

Dr Beri is a wondeful dentist. She keeps the patients relaxed while doing any of the procedure. I was scared to go to my previous dentist as he was very aggresive.

Dr Lata Beri is a great dentist at a resonable cost. She has years on experience in the field sand very plesant to deal with
