We have new insurance and providers in Seattle. Our dentist office is Springfield Dental. Have to say I am not impressed at all. Not only do they have limited skills for patient care but their referral to a an endoscopic surgeon is running us in circles with another office visit just to confirm my Hubbs indeed needs a root canal. Then they will schedule him another appointment for services. What a joke! Looks like all these dentist want to do is dip their hands in the money jar! I have never had this ridiculous cycle to get nothing done! I really miss Oregon this crap doesn't happen! You go to the dentist, they take all necessary X-rays for their referring surgeon, and then the surgeon office calls to set up an appointment for services. It looks to me Washington needs to take a lesson!

Various Procedures over 20 years of being loyal to a fault. Paid Cash for Services for over 12 years plus at the Rate charged with no discount (reduced amount) such as that given when detal insurance is involed. Recently I had work to be completed estimated by my Detnal Insurance CO (GEHA) which indicates amount to be billed by Dr. Carpenter which the insurance compay estimate the amount I the patient would be responsible for, the amount the insurance would pay and the discount amount which Dr. Carpenter should discount the charge; however, when I was billed for many items some included the discount amount or the portion which should have been discounted or forgiven by the Dentist (Dr. Carpenter). Additionally jy account was turned over to a collection agency NSI without ever receiving proper notice of assignment to collection agency.

The office staff is rude and always overbooks unless specifically requested otherwise by the hygienist. Once you finally get in the chair you have to wait while the hygienist takes care of another patient. They also send out rude notices in the mail.
About Hygienist: The ONLY reason I have stuck with this office for so long is because the hygienist is very good. Unfortunately, however, she can not do her job because the office staff double books. I'm done.

The ofiice always overbooks the paitents and you always have to wait more than 20 min. to get in the chair. The hygenists are somewhat able to do there jobs but they also could use more schooling. The staff is very unprofessional. The dentists are also not helpful.

I have had 3 crowns and a bridge at this office. One of the crowns includes a post. All of the procedures have been pain free and I've had no problems with them. My only complaint is that I don't think the crown on my front tooth looks completely natural. It seems a little bigger than my other front tooth.
About Hygienist: I love all of the hygiensts at this office!
