Dr. Austin put a crown on 1 of my lower molars using the new fashionable computer system design where the computer measures the base of your tooth and builds on that a crown. After few minutes you get your porcelaine crown that is put in place in less than 20 minutes.
My crown happened to be too high and caused a severe pain when biting. I went back and he corrected it by lowering too much . That caused a gap in my teeth and when I bite my teeth don't touch. I Also started to have frequent cheek bites. Similarly my jaw muscle on that side was getting sore. I Tried to convince my selfself that's the way it should be but I had crowns (the old fashion way) and I know that's not the way it should be. Not any single one of them caused me to unbalance my bite or my jaw. Went back to see him after few months to correct the damage; instead he refered me to a physical therapist for the jaw because I may be biting my teeth at night without knowing according to him! I know I don't .
I didn't like the way his refusing to correct his own mistake. I didn't like the fact that he was convincing me of things that don't make sense. I may not be a dentist but I have seen so many since I was 13 years old .

I am with Dr. Austin for a long time, the staff in his office are very nice, but he doesn't spend too much time for each patient.
