Dr. carstensen is a top notch dentist. Everything he's done with me, root canals, pain identification and cleaning have been very professional and most importantly he's identified the root causes very well.
He isn't the cheapest dentist (nor the most expensive), but he doesn't shove useless procedures on you and only does what it needed and has been very up front about the costs and neccesary courses of action.
The facilities are very clean and staff very helpful. While he doesn't have DVD players expensive art etc. But these things probably cost money and is net savings on my bottom line.

Dr Carstensen is the finest dentist I've found in 20 some years of seeing dentists. He is patient and kind, has a great chairside manor. He discusses all options of treatment and makes sure that you understand all the dental lingo. His work is beautiful. I've seen some of hois patients who've had complete resorative work done and you'd never know these teeth were crowned. The shades and shape of the teeth are so natural....He works with a great team of specialists that are either in the same building or across the street. He is meticulous and always strives for the finest outcome for every patient. His hygienists are great!! Very gentle and careful. He is worth the drive from anywhere. His staff is so pleasant and knowledgable. Every visit is a pleasure!
