Dr. Fukano really does know his stuff, tells you exactly how it is, and does the work you come in for. His staff is really nice and work well with him too. Very friendly and competent. He is also very laid back and talks to you so informally like you're his friend. He talks about anything and it really puts you at ease.
About Hygienist: I have very sensitive gums and Dr. Fukano's hygienists do an absolute miracle in keeping the experience pain free, and without anesthetics.

Dr. Fukano himself is an honest to God dentist. He is young and uncorrupted in his advice. He doesn't lecture or recommend unnecessary or unwarrated procedures like many dentists do (they become salesmen). He is gentle and has a good sense of humor. The hygenist likes to use a calvitron to clean teeth. I am sure this is quicker and fine for most people, but it irritates me. However, if asked, she will clean the old fashioned way.
