Read Reviews for Dr. Michael Velling
Dr. Velling has been our family dentist for over 10 years. I have lived all over the country, and he is the best dentist I have ever had. The care we all receive there is top rate, and he never recommends treatments that are unnecessary, unlike some dentists I have had in the past. He is a little pricey (our insurance doesn't cover even the basic cleaning costs and it is really good insurance for regular medical), but it is worth it for the level of care and the peace of mind that your teeth are in good hands. I wouldn't go to anyone else for any reason, and would drive a long way just to stay with Dr. Velling as a dentist!

I have been a patient of the Velling Dental practice for 36 years, starting out with their father and now seeing Dr. Mike and Dr. Jerry. They are amazing dentists. They are gentle, listen well and will actually come to the phone to talk with a patient if you have questions. Did I mention they have an amazing staff! Very personable and knowledgable!
I commute 45 minutes each way just to continuing having them as my dentist

Dr. Velling is very gentle. I have been to several dentists in the area and Dr. Velling has never caused me any pain! He is so great with my children, too. They have toys and coloring books in the lobby. My seven-year old daughter loves going to the dentist for her cleanings, and she's had a couple of fillings too. The assistants and hygenists are/were very good at introducing both my daughter (when she was younger) and my two-year old son to the chair and the surroundings, and they take it one step at a time. They even allowed my son and daughter to come in on top of my regularly scheduled appointments to acclimate them so that I wouldn't have to pay for it. Overall, this dentist is wonderful. My whole family goes here, I highly recommend it.

Dr Velling was my dentist for the first 14 years of my life. Due to an insurance change, we had to go to another dentist that we were not impressed with. As soon as I turned 18 and got my own insurance that covered him, I went back. His receptionist remembers my childhood more than I do. 5 stars!
