Read Reviews for Dr. Peggy Chang
Our family moved from North Bend to the Redmond area.
After being in this area for a while, it only made sense to
hook up to a new, local Dentist. We were referred to Dr. Peggy Changs Office. The Doctor and Staff are very professional, caring
individuals...My concerns, questions were addressed. I would definitely recommend this Dentist and her
very able and compassionate Staff to friends.Outstanding Group
of Health Professionals.

I had just moved to Redmond and visited Dr Chang's office for a regular bi-annual cleaning appointment. During the initial chit chat they figured I was new to the place and just joined Microsoft (big insurance cover!). At the time of appointment a helper took me in and while I asked for the doctor I was told that the doctor (Dr Chang) does not take cleaning work herself and that is "regular practice" in the state of WA! The dentist didn't even show her face during the entire visit while the entire procedure done by her helper. One month later I was landed with a $100 bill for co-payment for some treatment Dr Chang was claiming I had gotten done. Also they were claiming I had gotten a full mouth x-ray done which thankfully got covered by the excellent insurance that Microsoft provides. When I called the clinic for an explaination of the service as I had never got it done - they refused to answer any questions saying the hygenists (helpers) decision was final. The doctor refused to talk and when I ensued the receptionist threatened to put the bill on my credit record and banged the phone on me. I ended up footing the bill to protect my credit.
BEWARE!! Dr Chang does not care about her patients and is only after their wallet!!

This is the worst dentist I have ever seen.
First, one month ago, I did tooth filling in her clinic. It was a very minor hole in my tooth and never gave me any problem. After listening to her suggestion, I decided to do tooth filling. But things are getting worse now. It's always painful and I can not eat any hot or cold food. After contacting her several times, the only answer I got was that I am too sensitive with filling.
Second, she charged me some strange fees without any knowledge. I am really upset because she gave me some treatments which I don't need. But I have to pay it all by myself. More important, this is not the first time I got a huge bill from my insurance company.
Be aware of this dentist if you choose her.

Unprofessional and Why:
Before having cavities filled, the hygienist had difficulty setting up the dental equipment in my mouth. She proceeded to forcefully prod both of her hands into my mouth until she finally decided to get a friend to help her. While the hygienists work is not a direct reflection of Peggy, I do believe that Dr. Chang should be aware of her treatment toward patients.
While having cavities filled, floss placed in my mouth caught on the drill. An individual drill in ones mouth is stressful enough, but when the dentist is not aware of surroundings and makes mistakes, the procedure becomes even more uncomfortable.
The most appalling event during my visit was not the floss getting caught on the drill, or the hygienist jabbing her hands into my mouth. Dr. Peggy Chang and the hygienist proceeded to gossip throughout the procedure about her sister-in-law and odd face shape of her baby. The subject matter then changed to weddings and how if they could do it over again neither of them would get married again. I found this to be incredibly unprofessional and I will not be going back.

I am now with Dr. Chang after 25 years with Dr. Huleen. She does beautiful work. She did front crowns for me and some work on my husband and we are both extremely happy with it. She is very warm and friendly, as is the staff. I would recommend her to anyone.
