I tried to cancel an appointment - but they are not open on Friday (when I found out I needed to travel on Tuesday - job). They are not open on the weekend nor do they accept a voice mail to cancel an appointment. On Monday, I was not able to get through their answer machine, nor was there a voice mail option. When I did get through late Monday, I was hit with a $75 cancellation fee.
Not a bad dentist - but horrible structure.

Dr. McLaughlin's office is state of the art, fudning for which is evident when you get your bill. I had a terrible time with the office staff, overcharging and billing when insurance had not been received. I had to deal with insurance myself, since they were unable to help. My fillings fell out twice and I subsequently go to a new dentist now, thank goodness.

Very expensive. Office manager is really hard to work with - makes you feel like a real low life if you can't pay thousands up front. Don't like to bill insurance. Even with insurance, very expensive. They want money up front. Dr. is wonderful, but the billing is very difficult. Not worth the hassle of dealing with the office/account manager. There are plenty of other good dentists around for less.
