Dr. Nakanishi is a dream dentist. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is very competent and truly cares about people. Competent: he treated me with an invisalign when other dentists said I was "too difficult" a case. Not for Dr. Nakanishi! My teeth look beautiful now! Cares about people: He cares about his patients, talks so-called small talk with them, etc. Beyond his regular patients: He donates his services regularly in underdeveloped countries. I love Dr. Nakanishi and you will too! Also, everyone I've ever worked with in any capacity at Northwest Family Dental has been a joy to work with! It's where to go for dentistry!

I am overwhelmed by gratitude for the people at the NW Family Dental in Redmond, WA. They go well beyond the once in a blue moon great doctors who really make you feel like they're taking care of you. They are OUTSTANDING. I was in agony and had an appt for them at about 4:15 that day. My mouth had been throbbing all day. By the time they were able to see me it was fifteen minutes before closing. Tears were running down my cheeks my tooth hurt so badly. I was in need of an emergency root canal. And when I say emergency, I mean... do whatever you have to do, just make the pain go away.
This wonderful doctor Michael Cho, D.D.S .and Susan Foote, CDA worked on me well past closing time. I stumble out of there at nearly six pm with 1/2 a root canal done. But that was fine with me. I would be able to sleep that night. It ends up taking a total of three visits to turn my extraordinarily angry tooth into a well behaved Stepford Child tooth.
Joanne Braillard, the Office Manager calls me aside and tells me that between my son and I, (his teeth were fine), we've maxed out our insurance. She did everything she could to help me, even finding financing for me. Thank you so much to everyone at NW Family Dental in Redmond, WA. I love you!!!
About Hygienist: Susan Foote, CDA. She was wonderful. So helpful and nice!!! Instead of me trying to talk to her with my mouth wired open, I used my cell phone to type out text messages to let them know what I needed.

The staff do a thorough job with cleanings. They are friendly and professional and easy to work with. The only thing negative I've encountered is the dentist almost always tries to sell whitening or other products. Fillings etc have always been a breeze .

DR. ROGER NAKANISHI (WHOSE WIFE DR. TERESA YAGI ALSO MAINTAINS AN EXCELLENT PRACTICE) HAS EASILY LOCATABLE OFFICE NEAR THE LIBRARY IN REDMOND (PARKING IS FREE AND USUALLY PLENTIFUL). ON A SCALE OF 100, DR. NAKANISHI'S OVERALL RATING IN MY EXPERIENCE TOPS THE SCALE. HE HAS AN EXCELLENT 'CHAIRSIDE MANNER', WORKS FAST AND WITH EXTREME PRECISION, CONSTANTLY INQUIRES ABOUT THE PATIENT'S COMFORT AND PERFORMS PROCEDURES ALMOST AS PAINLESSLY AS IF THEY WEREN'T BEING PERFORMED AT ALL. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CROWNS AND FILLINGS PERFORMED BY DR. NAKANISHI, AS WELL AS 'INVISILINE' COSMETIC STRAIGHTENING, AND ALL HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. HIS OFFICE IS ALSO THE MOST COURTEOUS, FRIENDLIEST AND MOST HELPFUL COLLECTION OF LADIES YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO HAVE SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENTS. I CANNOT SPEAK FOR HIS FEES AS EACH PROCEDURE PROBABLY VARIES WITH THE PATIENT'S CONDITION, BUT I HAVE FOUND HIM TO BE WORTH EVERY PENNY. VERY, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ~ TONY CANLIS

He's absolutely the best! Especially if your afraid of going to the dentist, then he's the one you want to go to. I trust him completely and he's done all my dental work in the last 10 years.

I love this dental practice! Jo Ann at the front desk is always pleasant and helpful and Dr. Nakanishi gave me a very nice discount on my third mouth guard when my dog ate it - twice!

I've been a faithful patient for over 15 years now. Absolutely the best (in combination with Dr. Kelley Fisher) dental practice in the area. My experiences with everything from crowns, extractions, root canals, preventative treatment, etc. have been great.
Excellent staff with almost no turnover since I've been a patient. Very comfort-geared, skilled and friendly staff from the front desk on back. I've heard that their prices are a bit higher than comparable dentists, but I feel they are very reasonable considering the excellent care, personal attention and top-notch environment that they offer.
My 8 yo daughter has been going there all her life, and she thinks going to the dentist is a real treat - even after needing her first filling earlier this year!!!
My sister went to law school in Chicago, and used to schedule her dental treatments during her visits back here - she simply didn't want to go anywhere else. How's that for a statement???
