Read Reviews for Dr. Pamela Solhaug
I've had dental work done with a lot of dentists and can compare. Dr. Solhaug has a very gentle touch, and responsive to any signs of discomfort. All dental work that I've done with her is high quality and is in a good shape. She is making an impression of a dentist who goes slowly with a lot of care and consideration while achieving superb results.
She is out-of-network provider so I pay extra for most of the procedures, so it is not cheap. I would say it is average by current standards.
My insurance (Premera Blue Cross) pays a part of the cost. When I had a crown done, even though I expected them to pay a half, they actually paid about a third. In explanation it said that they are covering "metal alternative", whatever it is. I think they figure into cost only the cheapest possible option, not necessarily the best option. But these are insurance tricks to save money for their shareholders as we learned from "Sicko".
The facilities are very pleasant. They actually moved to a new address on Eastlake. The address on this site is old, the phone number is correct.
The hygienists do good cleaning job. The front desk person has worked there all these years, and she is very nice.
I definitely recommend this dentist.

I've been a patient of Dr. Solhaug's for several years. I had avoided the dentist for about five years prior to that, due to a bad experience with a dentist I had seen when I first moved to Seattle. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Solhaug and I have to agree that she is a very caring dentist. She didn't make me feel bad or silly about my dental phobias. I have never had a problem with any of my insurance claims that go through her office, and her office and professional staff are all very friendly and helpful.
