I found Dr Staninec when my dentist retired. I have been extremely pleased with his care. I have also referred my family, quite a few friends, a previous boss, and my landlady. I have complete confidence in him. He explains what he is doing, which I appreciate, and he does a lot of the things that many dentists refer to other specialists. I like being able to rely on Dr Staninec because I know he is a skilled dentist. He has a great staff and Nora has been with him for years. It is like going to see family for me; family that has my best interest in mind. I don't know about pricing because I have never compared; my insurance pays.

I had my initial #19 implant done at UCSF, and they recommended Dr. Staninec for the crown. Overall, Dr. Staninec deserves the top rating, because of great results, service, follow-up, and price. While others have noted that his facilities aren't tops, I would say that that is only the building. The equipment is top notch and matches the caliber of Dr. Staninec. He was extremely conscientious in his work and discussed all of the crown options available to me. Afterward, he made very certain of a proper fit and was highly available for a follow-up appointment (not a crown issue, but a popcorn issue). I highly recommend him for his high level of knowledge and service.

I broke off a front tooth in 1999 and went to Dr. Staninec after seeing a co-workers "repair " of a partially broken off front tooth. Dr. Staninec was extremely thorough and the crown was the best I have ever had. The cost, insurance help, and courtesy by him and all the staff has always been wonderful. I would not consider using any other dental services!

I don't recommend Michal. My fillings he made came off several times over few years and the equipments he uses are old. Very cheap but not worth it.

Dr. Staninec teaches dental practice at UCSF, and it shows: he is really top of his class for actual practice of dentistry. I was recommended to his practice by a close friend who is also a professor, and I have always been very pleased at his professionalism and that of his office. He's also a nice guy, efficient, on time, organized, and does not try to sell fancy services such as teeth whitening, cosmetic caps and the other money grubbing services that some dentists push. If Dr. Staninec says you need work done, you do need it. I like being able to trust my professionals this way.

I can't really comment on price because it's usually on my insurance, but I highly recommend Dr. Staninec and his staff. Very good, no hassle... my wife and her family has been going to him for years. Finding a good dentist can be pretty challenging, I can't recommend them enough.

This is the first dentist that I visited in US, with whom I was very satisfied. The staff is very friendly, and overall impression very good.
