by far the best dentist in the bay area! i used to work as a dental professional and had a hard time finding a dentist to meet my standards. dr. kami is a stress free and PAIN free dentist who takes care of his patients. you never have to wait, you are seated right away and the dr. is ready to see you. the staff is very nice and helpful. he is reasonably priced and is a delta dental provider. he works in your mouth 1 to 2 teeth at a time so you don't have to be numb all over or sit with your mouth open for hours. you are usually in and out in an hour. by the way, when i say pain free, i mean pain free. you don't even taste the novocaine so much as feel the injection when hi is anesthetizing. also, he wont work on you if you are not 100% numb. don't take my word for it, go check him out.

Dr. Kami was highly recommended by a friend and by my endodontist. I needed several crowns replaced. I was surprised that my questions about procedures, possible outcomes, etc. were answered somewhat vaguely and abruptly. I got the feeling I was holding up the assembly line. There is very little privacy and your gaping mouth is visible for all to see. After several problems with the front office staff and difficulty scheduling appointments, I decided to go elsewhere. I know many love his work and his staff; I am not one of them.

Dr. Kami and his staff are wonderful! So kind, gentle, and funny enough it's enjoyable to go to the dentist when you visit Dr. Kami's office!
Dr. Kami does great with porcelain veneers, very natural and aesthetic.
Would recommend Dr. Kami and his staff to anyone!

Both my wife and I have been seeing Dr. Kami since the mid-1980. He is the best dentist around. My wife had all of her bridge work over 20 years ago without a lick of trouble. Very wonderful staff...painfree...a real pro!... great with our kids!

Dr Kami is a knowledgeable dentist, but he and his staff are very rough with their dental tools. I switched dentists after a few visits because they would fumble their tools and poke and scrape my gums and teeth every visit.

Dr. Kami is wonderful. I have been a patient for over 15 years and won't go to anyone else. I have referred 3 other people to him, and they won't go anywhere else now either. The most important thing to me is that he knows his stuff - he's a UC Berkeley grad and it shows. He is also very warm, cares about his patients, genuine, very reasonably priced, has gone out of his way on numerous occassions to fit me in on the spur of the moment, performs very thorough exams, super front desk people, I've never had to wait more than 7-10 minutes, has called me on the phone to let me know important test results, and I just really like him. A good, reputable dentist. My latest teeth cleaning was $90. The hygenists are thorough and gentle. Very fast and efficient office, yet relaxed. You will not be disappointed. There is a reason he is so popular. I live in Santa Cruz and make the 150 mile round trip twice a year just to see him. First rate doctor, I can't say enough good about him.

Friendliest, most pain-free dentist and hygienists around! They're very efficient-- I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen, and the exams and cleanings are thorough without taking too long. I have dental insurance accepted by this office, so the prices are quite reasonable. I recommend Dr. Kami and his staff very, very highly!
