I went to Dr Yip all through college and loved both her professionalism and her staff. The office is brand new, the technology is up to date, and she is very thorough about my dental health. I had multiple cavities filled (due to college eating habits) and while it wasn't pain free, it was definitely a huge improvement over my past experience with fillings. She helped me with my teeth-grinding problem through the use of a night guard, which fits well and has stopped the deterioration of my teeth from grinding. She is sweet and friendly and very personable. All in all, I was sorry to move away from Berkeley and not be able to go back to her!

My treatments were very general such as cleanings and fillings. Dr. Yip was great. I had complete confidence that she used the most current procedures and tools. I was confident that I was receiving the best care possible. The only down side was my husband and my best friend also went to her and it became a little uncomfortable. I felt like too much private information was shared between all of us (not medical information). Unfortunately, we all sacrificed the great care for more privacy, and found separate dentists.

I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Dr. Yip and her staff clearly enjoy working together, and their camaraderie makes a trip to the dentist feel like you're part of the family. Their professionalism is of an equally high caliber. The office is not fancy like some upscale San Francisco dentists but what matters is the work they do. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant office. Dr. Ahkavi is the younger partner and my practitioner. Very friendly and quite professional. Excellent crown and filling work. One misstep after treating an old filling that was asymptomatic - ended up with a root canal from a totally quiet tooth. (this happens with other dentists but still a hassle and a disappointment aside from the $$$. HIghly recommended.

I LOVE Dr. Yip and her staff. I have been a patient for about 8 years now and have never had a less than stellar experience. I used to live in Berkeley but am now driving through the Caldecott to see Dr. Yip. They are professional, thorough, helpful...just terrific in all areas.

I have recommended Dr. Yip to many of my friends and now they have also become regular patients. She and her staff are warm and personable. The dental hygienest that I use, Andrea, is very thorough and Dr. Yip always looks in during the cleaning to evaluate my teeth and to recommend near- or long-term dental plan.
I believe I receive grrrrrrrrrrreat care and I am very fussy about my teeth
