Read Reviews for Dr. Pamela Steed
Dr. Steed and her staff spent over two hours with me at my new patient appointment. I left her office with all my questions answered. I was treated like I was the only patient of the day. The assistant was very knowledgeable and listened and answered all questions as well as the doctor. Her treatment plan is to wear a lower appliance 24/7 for six months then nights always and with flare ups. The treatment worked and I am pain free. Remember you get what you pay for and you know the total cost for all treatment on your first appointment.

i liked dr steed. it's the business practices that i do not care for. you have to pay up front all costs, even with insurance. they charge more than the insurance company will cover and will not reimburse you, the patient for the overage. the front desk staff are unfriendly, not helpful and are part of the problem. they will not assist the patient in the navigation of the insurance puzzle. i believe they do this on purpose so that you don not fully understand how much out of pocket you will pay to dr steed's office.

I went to see Dr. Steed for my TMJ pain. She is most
unprofessional. She & her assistant were making jokes and
laughing while I sat in the chair. I was completely ignored, I felt
like the invisible woman. She told me my TMJ was so
severe & that there was nothing she could do for me. I told her I
had an appt w/Dr. Sondhi & she told me not to bother going to
him, there was nothing he could do for me either. Good thing I
didn't listen to her. I did see Dr. Sondhi & he was able to help
me.
I left her office feeling totally hopeless. It was an awful
experience. I would discourage anyone from seeing her and
recommend that they see Dr. Sondhi instead.

I would not recommend Dr. Steed or her staff to anyone. They try to be a state of the art place, but the services were poor. Most of the dental equipment in the office looked outdated. She didn't really explained to me what my conditions and options for treatments were. She's one of those doctors that doesn't really communicate with their patients and just decided on a treatment for the patients. The only options the patients have are to reject or accept that one treatment option she gives out. I have been to better doctors and she's not one.
About Hygienist: Receptionists were condescending.

I love that she actually listened to me, instead of just telling me what is wrong. She is great!

She was great! Didn't push me into anything that I didn't want to do, and always knew the questions to ask. I LOVE that she actually listened to me about what was going on, unlike some of my experiences in the past with other "specialists"
