I had to get 3 wisdom teeth out and I was referred to him by my general dentist. I came in and he said he can take them out the same day. I had to wait a very long time even though there were no other patients. His wife was supposed to give me an x-ray but she seemed more preoccupied with looking at the stock market on her computer. Extracting wisdom teeth is a very painful process and he gave me more novicane when i asked for it. However, it was quite annoying and very unpleasant when some random lady came into the room and was chatting with him while i was getting my tooth broken in 3 pieces! For a soft tissue impaction it cost me $1000. I couldn't help but feel slightly ripped off.

I highly recommend Dr. Chan for any oral surgery or removal of teeth. He did an excellent service removing a difficult tooth in 2003 with no pain whatsoever and no further complications resulted from it. I am returning to the good doctor for my next removal of a previously filled tooth by another dentist this week. Will add these further comment of results later. Check this man out. He's the best you can get in Los Angeles/Alhambra.
