My daughter had an appointment to have 5 teeth removed so her braces can be placed. Even though I was more nervous than she Dr. Peterson and his staff made us feel completely comfortable and she recovered fully with little discomfort and no complications.

Dr. P is the only person I would let work on me. He is very gentle and you can tell he and his staff genuinely care about their patients. Dr. P extracted 6 teeth when I was younger and about 10 years later he recently pulled my lower wisdom teeth. He and his staff are so nice, they make sure you are comfortable and that you can’t feel a thing. They also set you up with the right tips to fast healing. All around I would recommend Dr. P he is a great doctor and does great work.

TERRIBLE customer service. Gave me an inaccurate quote, didn't know how to read an insurance plan and ended up charging me $537 OVER what they originality quoted ON TOP of the $1110 I had already paid out of pocket. Their explanation was simply "your insurance company has paid less than we anticipated" in other words "we didn't know how to read a coverage plan". Total procedure cost 2189 for simple wisdom teeth pulling (no impacted teeth).
With that being said, the Dentist himself was very good. My procedure went well and my recovery was quick. Very sweet man and a competent doctor.
Doctor: 5 Stars
Surgical Assistant: 5 Stars
Office Staff: 1 Star
In all, I would recommend the doctor, but be VERY CAREFUL to get your quote upfront and in writing.

I needed to have a tooth pulled after an accident and had a lot of trepidation about getting a dental implant. Dr. Peterson was amazing - great bedside manner, fabulous staff. He provided medication before the procedure, and of course during - I had zero pain and the recovery was simple. I highly recommend him and will have my family members go to him for wisdom teeth extraction, when the time comes. Can't recommend him highly enough.

What a find! When I learned that both my teen-aged daughters needed wisdom teeth extracted I called six different oral surgeons recommended by my dentist. We narrowed it down to 3. After visiting these, we selected Dr. Peterson. He was very straight-forward and thoughtful when he explained the procedure to my daughters. Both daughters had the surgery, no complications and enjoyed a speedy recovery.
Also important, our experience with the office staff was very positive. The office is well-run by an efficient and caring staff. In fact, when Blue Cross (our stinky dental insurance) initially refused to cover portions of the procedure, Peterson's billing manager, Susan, went to bat for us -- with a happy ending! :)

I have had four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Peterson. The procedure was flawless. Dr. Peterson has warned me that during the procedure he might have to wake me up and ask a permission to split one of the teeth. Turned out one of the teeth was difficult to remove and had to wake me up to ask the permission. Everything has healed very well. The staff is very professional.

I was referred to Dr. Peterson on an urgent basis by my own regular dentist. To my great surprise, Dr. Peterson's office managed to fit me into their schedule on the same day that I was referred, which was a great relief . . . I wanted to get it over with! But each staff member that I dealt with was so pleasant, understanding, and compassionate that they actually made me feel comfortable. Dr. Peterson himself was a model of kind, gentle treatment. He took the time to answer my questions and gave very thoughtful consideration to my questions about how my treatment might be financed, since I have no dental insurance. I felt very well taken care of -- Dr. Peterson, his office and his staff are the best!! I recommend him without reservation.

In October 2001, Dr. Peterson removed four teeth (bicuspids) in preparation for my orthodontic treatment, an adult in his 50s. The procedure was successful and painless because of sedation. (A week of pain, which was expected, was mitigated by a prescription for an analgesic; exactly one pill remained when the pain was gone.)
The procedure was successful. Dr. Peterson's office took care of all necessary Delta Dental correspondence. Satisfied patient.
Recently, October 2005, Dr. Peterson examined me for a gum lesion. His explanation of the origin of the condition was very clear and his recommendations for treatment using inexpensive mouth washes were convincing.
Dr. Peterson's "mouthside" manner is outstanding.
[I am uncomfortable rating the cost of treatment. My out of pocket expenses are very reasonable, but other dental plans may not be as generous.]

I had a molar that needed to be replaced with an implant. Dr. Peterson pulled the molar, filled the hole with sterilized bone, and put in my implant -- services taking over one year to complete -- the normal timeline for effective healing. I love my implant and all my worrying was for naught. The office staff really helped me to relax. Dr. Peterson made me feel very comfortable and I would recommend him to anyone. I also had him pull my son's four wisdom teeth which also went extremely well.
