Dr. Silva did an adequate, yet not great job with my son's oral surgery. It had to be redone and he charged for the redo which our orthodontist said he's never heard another oral surgeon do. However, billing has been a year long nightmare that I would caution anyone against.
About Front Desk: Worst EVER! Run away! Don't trust anything they say. Don't trust that they know what they're talking about where insurance is concerned.

I went to get an estimate to have number three upper left side extracted. It was already loose. Told me there was no charge for an estimate. Wanted $375 to pull the tooth plus an additional $75 for his estimate to pull the tooth which only took five minutes... I walked out of the office. He billed me for $72 consultation fee. I refused to pay it and found a dentist in Salinas who pulled the same tooth for $100 and that included X-ray plus the anesthetic. Silva then turn me over to collection for the $72 bloodmoney as compensation for his five minutes to give me the estimate... Go see Dr. Peter Yang in Salinas instead... He's much friendlier and much more reasonable

I love Dr Silva....he is so professional and does such excellent work! He has a great sense of humor which really helped me to relax! His work is so precise and so good! I highly recommend Dr Silva to anyone. I feel so grateful that my dentist referred him to me!!

THE MAN IS ONLY INTERESTED IN MONEY AND HE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE TO GET IT! Wanted over $400 to extract #13. has one root. I said NO! got billed $72 consultation. Had same tooth pulled by Dr Wang for $100 xray included. Came out in 15 seconds. Silva lied and told me he thought the tooth had an extra root (BLATANT LIAR)... Offered him $300 and he said he does not do discounts! If I had insurance he would not have even gotten $300 so to refuse me shows the level of his greed and stupidity as well as his total lack of compassion. BEWARE OF THIS MAN
