I had a difficult wisdom tooth extraction done. Dr. Stephens was recommended by another oral surgeon who was not confident in his own ability to do the job right. Dr. Stephens was great. He explained everything and did a wonderful job. The problem was the women that work in the office. They were completely unfamiliar with the extreme difficulty of the procedure I had done and harassed me when I called for refills on my pain medication. At one point, they even had me come in and poked me to see if I was really in pain. After I nearly hit the ceiling, started bleeding again and swelled up, they were still giving me a hard time on the refill. I recommend Dr. Stephens as an oral surgeon. He's first rate. But do yourself a favor and insist on seeing him at every follow-up visit and bypass the girls in the office when requesting a refill.
