It was a horrible, abusive experience. He pulled my tooth with no assistant in the room and left me covered in my own blood.

Most polite and professional office. I had surgery last June and was in and out before i knew it was over. Dr. Moorhouse explained everything in great detail before procedure and took away any anxiety i had. I had a very quick recovery. The office and tech assistants are so friendly. it felt like a family environment not a dr's office. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Moorhouse. Even referred a friend over to him today. Hope he can help them as much as he did for me. Best oral surgeon ever. and i am a tough critic.

About Front Desk: had a few hang ups in the beginning with insurance issue, the staff was very professional and worked very quickly to help me get everything in order. They all need a big Christmas bonus.

I had my wisdom teeth removed and the doctor is pretty nice. Its expensive and I have a peice of tooth that wasnt removed so I have to go back in again! It hurt really bad and now because there was a peice left in im sure ill have to go through it again. overall, nice but expensive and you might have to go back. Also, he has two offices one downtown and one near arden its all dependent on where he is that day which I also felt was kind of lame.

I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Moorhouse. I was concerned about this as I am 22 and past the "optimal age". My 2 lower teeth were horizontally impacted, concerning me about nerve damage. Dr Moorhouse assured me he would be careful and make a choice on how to proceed for my individual case during the surgery itself. He was very honest about the risks and not pushy about making me agree to go forward with it. His patience in answering questions and genuine concern was apparent and the main reason I agreed to the operation. On the day of my surgery I was nervous. I was given an IV mixture of pethidine (painkiller), propofol (hypnotic), and diazepam (relaxant). Within 15 seconds of the IV starting I was out and remember absolutely nothing. The surgery itself lasted about an hour, but it seemed like 5 seconds. It's been two 2 days and I'm healing very quickly. I was given a prescription for hydrocodone for pain and an antibiotic. Ice helps with swelling. I'm really surprised that I am not in more pain and very grateful that I have no nerve damage or loss of sensation. I have no dental insurance and his office is working out very reasonable payments with me. Highly recommended: honest, good at what he does, fair payment options.

He's Awesome! he really knows his stuff and whats he's doing. I had five wisdom teeth ( i had 5 for some reason) removed by him. He did a great job, gave me all the info i needed, aftercare supplies etc. You can trust him and feel at ease. Staff was really great too.

He took very good care of me and family, very personable and i would highly reccomend him to any one needing oral surgery. His staff is very competent. I do not carry insurance for oral surgery but i hear he works closely to get maximum benefits.

Dr. Moorhouse is the WORST and his staff aren't any better. I never once saw the doctor up until 2 minutes before my procedure when he was giving me my IV. I told them from the beginning that I had a low pain tolerance and they basically just told me too bad and to get over it. After my procedure, my pain was miserable and I soon ran out of painkillers. I called his office and his staff were extremely rude to me and completely unsympathetic. They just advised me to come in for a dressing treatment which was totally unsuccessful. In addition to his poor bedside manner and horrendous employees, his office is located smack dab in the ghetto, I kid you not, a crackhead walked up to my boyfriend's car and poked his head in the window as he was trying to leave. Thank god I have good insurance and didn't have to pay for my procedure, but it would have cost over $3500 out of pocket if I had. If it was my choice, I would never gave that man a penny for his time. If you can avoid him, do so at all costs.

What I really liked about Dr. Moorhouse is the time he spent explaining the procedures. I felt like all my questions were answered.
The wait in his office seemed excessive, 1 hour and there were no other patients waiting for the first 45 mins. I suspect he wasn't even in the office.
