I was referred to Dr. Salmassy for implants by my general dentist. The procedure was ok but I had problem with cleaning around the implants. The implants was placed too back for second molar placement, and I wasn't able to clean behind it because the bone was up against the back of the implant. The spacing between implants were also off so that my first molar had to be over-built in the front to touch the tooth in front of it. Wasn't happy with the final outcome of the implants.

Having little knowledge about how to replace missing teeth, I was suddenly faced with having to do so. I was referred by my general dentist to Dr. Salmassy. The xrays and the consultation were very informative, and he came up with two potential plans for replacing the failing tooth. In one visit, he was able to remove the cracked tooth, and place my dental implant for my front tooth, and then a temporary tooth was placed over the site. Within an hour, I was up and running again. I chose to use laughing gas, because I did not want to go to sleep. The impression he took was given to my general dentist, and he had a custom crown made for my implant from it. When Dr. Salmassy said I was ready, I went over to my dentist's office, and he took off a healing cap and placed my final tooth without any shots. I am glad that I did not go through with the bridge, and had the implant placed and the one tooth made. Dr. Salmassy had a conforting confidence about the procedure and he met my expectations. I would strongly recommend him for any surgical procedure, and his office is a pleasant environment. Great Job Dr. Dave!
