I looked like I had been in a horrible accident after my implant surgery. I had to go in for an emergency check -up &
everyone at the front desk gasped when they saw me.
The entire area was unusually bruised & swollen halfway down my neck! Minutes before the surgery I was told I had to do another surgery to obtain bone from my jaw, which in the end, was not necessary. I have never wriiten a review but this I felt I had to do in order to warn any person who might consider this doctor.

He extracted my wisdom teeth at age 38. The procedure was quite efficient, but his pain management is severely lacking he prescribed only 3 days' worth. And, despite continuing severe pain in teeth, jaw, and soft tissue due to complications, he would not prescribe anything more, only providing benzocaine packings in the holes. I missed several days of work due to the untreated mouth pain. Now, almost two weeks after what should have been a routine extraction, I am looking for a different oral surgeon to treat the painful cyst that has developed.

I first met Dr Buoncristiani in 1990. He and his partners did an exemplary job on a very difficult case. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all of them including Dawn Randell who in my opinion is irreplacable. I traveled from East of the Mississippi to their offices and would do it over again if need be. Dr B is a great person and dentist

Although it has been several years since Dr. Buoncristiani performed my dental surgery the complications are still with me today. He informed me minutes prior to my tooth extraction he would be doing a bone grafting. The following day the left side of my face looked as if I had been in a serious car accident. It clearly was not right. Even the receptionist & nurses gasped when they saw it. At times the area aches & has comprimised my lower jaw. I would not return to this man nor recommend him.

I went to Dr. Buoncristiani for a wisdom tooth extraction. He was extremely competent, professional, kind, and insanely FAST. In the same amount of time it took him to painlessly extract my wisdom tooth (using local anesthesia only), I could've gotten a latte at Starbucks! I laughed when the extraction was over because it all happened so darned fast. I didn't even know what hit me. I was in and out of his office in 10 minutes. Lovely, spacious office, and pleasant staff -- they're all business. Dr. B's office is a model of efficiency, which means I don't have to spend any more time having dentistry work done than is necessary.

Dr. B took my wisdom teeth about 15 years ago and that was a fine experience with little pain. And, just three weeks ago he performed a fairly major jaw surgery (Le Fort) on me. He is awesome. He's a perfectionist which is a great quality in a surgeon, especially when the surgery will have an effect on the way you look. His staff are also friendly and very helpful.

I had an extraction which was very difficult. I was very happy that I had someone with the strength and finesse of Dr. Buoncristiani to perform the procedure. The pain was minimal, the cost I was typical for the Westside of Los Angeles which is more expenseive that other areas because the real estate is much more expensive. My insurance covered a part of the billing. The place is first class, all business, and I like that. The receptionist was very nice. As to Dr. Buoncristiani, he was very professional, knew what he was doing, nice, and got the job done without any problems...and as I say, a tough extraction that took a some skill and power to get it out.
He was recomended by my personal dentist of over 20 years, a lady whom I think is the best and of the finest integrity. She would not send me to anyone other than someone who is equal to the most competent in the area...and the area if FULL OF COMPETENCE!

I went to see Dr. Buoncristiani to have three wisdom teeth extracted. When I asked him how his progress was he informed me that two of them were already out! I didn't even know. Of course the third was impacted and that came out with a little more effort. But I was very pleased with the results.
