Read Reviews for Dr. Terry Wood
Left me in pain for two months.Told wood on a follow up and didn't care.Had no pain meds and when my wife called in the office wouldn't do a thing.Ended up calling my GP for meds.Over all wood is an ass and the people who walk in the office are dollar signs.Ended up going to Dr Bell in Tulane to figure out what was wrong.Wood left tooth fragments in where the extraction was done.Paid even more money to get the job done right.Wood is the devil and a little man in my book.

My wife got her wisdom teeth taken out. She normally has minor complications. This time however it was a major complication that ended in her going to the hospital. He was rude in person at a checkup after she went. He charged $2700 and then gave terrible service. My wife has had 2 large infections because of his "care". I most certainly would NEVER recommend him. The real clencher that prompted me to write this is that I called him to ask for a Z-pack because of yet another infection. He was cordial enough and pretended to care. He said that he would write a prescription, I went to get the prescription, and they have no record of him calling in.

Avoid at all costs! Visited in 2004, it's now 2011. He jacked up my jaw so bad I'm still in pain and trying to fix it. His methods are old-school and don't work. I had to have surgery to fix his mistake. He munipulated my jaw and knocked my disc out of place making it so I could not open my mouth. He said that was normal but it never opened again until I had surgery to take the disc out. And after all this he said I was in pain because I was over using my jaw!
