BEWARE!! Office staff very rude. Believe because I have Husky, that I was treated with disrespect. Office staff is very disrespectful and rude. I have never been treated so badly by anyone like I was treated by this office. Dr. Murphy tried to coerce me into being sedated for a procedure that just needed novacaine. Also, dr. would not allow a friend or family member to stay with me during procedure, which is odd because I am always able to have someone with me at other facilities for support. It makes you wonder why he wants you sedated and you aren't allowed to have any friends or family with you. What is he doing? What is he trying to hide. I got up and left the office before any work was done. I did not trust this office at all. I have never walked out of an office and I am 50 years old. Please know that I have never given a negative review before. If you need an oral surgeon, I recommend the amazing and friendly qualified staff of Dr. Ean James in Bristol, CT. He took me in right away and allowed my friend to stay with me through the whole procedure. Also, I wasn't pressured to be sedated and I have simple novacaine and the whole process was painless.
About Front Desk: Tried to get more money for procedures from my insurance company that were never performed. I have seen a review for Dr. Murphy and I do not believe that a patient gave this dr. 4 stars. There is no way it was written by a legitimate patient.
