I was referred to Dr. Alan Tucker by my general dentist office Affordable Dental. I called to schedule a appointment for a consultation and told them I'd be paying cash. I was never told of any payments that would have to be made. Upon arriving I was given New patient paperwork, then called back to see him. He says he couldn't see my x rays well which were just done 3 weeks prior. He said I needed another one so I did it at his office uninformed of any prices to be paid. The next thing I know the secretary tells me I owe $180!! $110 for x Ray and the rest for consultation. I paid it like a dummy because of the paper work I filled out when arriving wanted my s.s. number, job info, spouse info etc. I knew if I didn't pay they'd send it to collections. I called my general dentist about the "bad x rays" and explained that Mr Tucker said they weren't done properly. They said my x rays were fine and they don't know why I had to take another one. I talked to my best friend who referred me and she says that she was referred to Tucker as well and he said her x rays were bad and had her retake hers, billed her insurance which wouldn't cover it because she just had some done 2 months prior. Charged her $119!! Rip off don't go here!!
About Front Desk: They were professional when answering and scheduling but unprofessional by not informing me of any consultation charged when I told them I had no dental insurance as of yet and will be paying cash. The whole vibe was shady when I arrived they barely said anything. Then with a stone wall face at the end of my consultation one of the women tells me I owe $180 for x rays that I didn't need along with consultation. I know better next time ask how much before doing anything.

Dr.Tucker is awesome. This was my second extraction. He is so gentle, and ensures that you feel no pain. His staff is always friendly. I just love Judy, and the ladies up front. Dr. Tucker also takes the time to call you after your visit to ensure that everything is ok. Best Oral Surgeon I have ever been to.

I had to have a badly damaged tooth removed today (my regular dentist couldn't remove it because it was too severe) - I saw my regular dentist yesterday and Dr. Tucker was able to get me in today! He and his staff were so helpful and reassuring, and he's even going to call me tonight to make sure I'm doing okay. I've never seen another surgeon personally make that call to do it, and for all the treatment (extraction, meds, etc) it was $330 and I don't have insurance. I have a lot more work to be done on my teeth and I will be going to no one else but Dr. T. - Signed, Anna Hill, 5/1/2012

I had to have a molar removed do to an absese. Dr Tucker was extremly gental and was very quick, in and out in 30 minutes.... he even called the night of the sugery to check on me. I had a fear of the dentist until I visited his office staff is very friendly and the office setting puts you at ease. Thanks Dr. Tucker and Staff!

I am from China. I visited Dr. Turcker for my tooth extraction today by my prior dentist . This is the first time I meet Dr. Tucker and get know him. I had a lot concerns before I went into the room. I asked many questions before the surgical remove. after my tooth get move out, less than half hour, I had a great experience with Dr. Tucker. no pain while tooth been move out, less bleeding that I was worry bout and much more, very comfortable just like visit a old friend. The cost is cheaper also compared to my prior treator who is going to charge me $584 for the tooth remove.

I first saw Dr. Tucker on referral from my PCD concerning my wisdom teeth. The waiting area is small, but comfortable. My first two appointments started within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, the last appointment (for a followup) started early. This doctor is incredibly caring of his patients and does not simply think about money. The office staff goes out of their way to ensure that my insurance covers the necessary procedures and are very friendly. It was recommended by Dr. Tucker that I only have three wisdom teeth due to the risks involved in extracting the fourth, and that he did not think the fourth would cause any problems. The procedure itself was flawless. I was given a general anesthetic, felt no pain during the procedure (even while they were administering the IV anesthetic), and only experienced a slight soreness in my mouth for the next two days. I had this procedure done on a Friday and was able to continue my normal diet by the next Tuesday. Dr. Tucker personally called me the evening of the procedure date and the next day to check up on me. I would recommend Dr. Tucker to anyone, I had a very good experience with him.

Dr Tucker is the BEST! His staff was great and friendly as could be. Dr Tucker is very nice and gentle, I had 2 teeth extracted and I was HORRIFIED to do so..Dr Tucker made me feel so comfortable, and the extraction was pain free and easy!! I recommend him to anyone!!!!! He is the best around!~

My name is Ben White (benbwhite@hotmail.com) and I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Tucker 1/07. His staff was pleasant and professional. The extraction was painless (!) and quick and Dr. Tucker's concern for my well being during and after the procedure was evident. Cost was standard.
I highly reccomend his office for any dental needs.
