I was referred to this office by my dentist, who is great. The referral must just be due to insurance networks because Dr. Peskin is a terrible specialist, especially to work with children. He is unprofessional, impatient, and flat out RUDE as hell. After a number of appointments and hefty co-pays ($350 for a damn X-ray), my 7 year old was scheduled to have a tooth taken out. My son was initially afraid of the needle and Peskin decided to stop the procedure and was "not going to deal with this". The old white lady, his assistant, shares this snotty, arrogant, and truly disgusting attitude. This office is collectively out of date, in need of people skills, and not prepared AT ALL to handle children (or anyone for that matter). I respect professionals who do a good job, but part of that lies in the way you conduct yourself and treat those who pay you their hard-earned money. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
About Front Desk: Front desk ladies are the only nice people in the office, I assume because they are the ones who process your card after being demeaned and berated.

I don't like writing bad review, but my experienced with Dr. Peskin was very traumatic! I had my 2 wisdom tooth extracted and bridge cut off. He was very roughed and became angry that I was still having pain despite multiple shots. I felt every single shots that he gave me and the last 2 shots I felt him pushed the needle very hard. I was terrified, I was helpless and defenseless at that time. When he was doing the suturing I was so afraid that my tongue and cheeks will get poked. Every time he pulled the suture thread after making a knot I thought my lips will be cut open because he pulled it so hard. When he left the room I burst into tears. I understand that pulling the wisdom tooth is not an easy task, but he did not have to be so roughed and no compassion. Why would I say it's hurting so bad if it wasn't. Then my daughter told me that he was indeed roughed with her too, when she had her tooth extracted. That made me feel even worst, she never told me back then. I trusted him and because during the evaluation visit he explained everything in detail. I don't want this to happen to other people specially kids. I will be telling this story to everybody and I will tell my dentist not to refer him at all.

I would highly recommend Dr. Peskin. I have seen him twice to have teeth removed. No problems either time. He is kind and compassionate and didn't hurt me. First rate doctor!

Dr. K. Peskin EXTRACTED THE WRONG TOOTH! It was one of the worst experiences in my life. Before I was aware that he extracted the wrong tooth, he made it a very unpleasant experience. He was rushed and disagreeable. He also chastised me to “hold still” while he pulled the tooth. When I returned home, I saw in the mirror that he had extracted the wrong tooth! Though he had taken x-rays of the degraded/dying tooth on a previous visit, he argued over miscommunication between the dentist and himself. Avoid him at all costs!

I went to Dr. Peskin to have my wisdom teeth taken out a few years ago. I still do not have feeling back. He was extremely rough and offered no support. I called afterwards to ask if it was normal and he just shrugged it off saying I may never get feeling back. The right side of my face is numb- 3 years later. My life has drastically changed for the worse ever since I saw this doctor. Stay away.

Dr. Peskin Rocks!
I have seen more dentists then i care to remember, and Dr. peskin is the best! He takes the time to listen to my every concern and always makes me feel completely comfortable. I needed my wisdom teeth out and two implants placed where i never got my permanent teeth. He first saw me for consultation and explained everything so i would know what to expect. Everything was exactly as he said it would be. I was asleep for the surgery, so all i remember is having some medicine, and waking up and it was all done. He prescribed some antibiotics and pain pills, but i only took one of the pain pills because it really didn't hurt. He saw me for follow-up a couple of times, and my dentist put the crowns on my implants. Wow. I have the nicest smile now, i always get complements. If you want to see the best, see Dr. Peskin!!!

I have taken all 5 of my children to Dr. Peskin for their wisdom tooth extractions. Every one of them had a positive experience. He has had the same staff for years. All very experienced and professional. Plus, he participates with our insurance plan, which always saves us a lot of money!

RIDICULOUS DR !!! AVOID !!
I went to get two of my wisdom tooth extracted. It was EXTREMELY painful, when he gave me shots. I kept yelling / crying, there was NO HELP !! No professionalism or human element !!
He left big thread, which was totally uncomfortable. This guy only works for 4 days a week and remaining days, he is not avalaible even for emergency calls and other dr he assigns (Julie) would have no knowledge of his patients.
After my surgery, I realized that he left a big thread in my teeth. That made my pain totally unbearable, as it was pulling my stitches. He was ofcourse unavailable, then we left with no choice to see my regular dentist who did what he could.
Then, he gave us appointment after 1 week to see us. He was so rude - "go back home" I can not help you if you have your regular dentist peek his nose in my work.

Dr. Peskin is kind and caring. I would reccomend him to anyone. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He runs his office effeciantly and never makes me or other patients wait.

I have had oral surgery , I had tongue and I lip tissue removed, and the treatment went perfectly ,
