I was going through the process of a dental implant and changed dentist after a few procedures. I was constantly having appointments canceled and even at the last minute. One time i went there thinking I was having a procedure done and come to find out they scheduled me for the wrong thing an I got nothing done. The whole staff seems like they are cranky all the time and are never pleasant to deal with. I have waited in the waiting room for over an hour on multiple occasions. I finally got fed up and got a new dentist!

I have anxiety, and dr. bacos kept leaving the room and telling me to calm down instead of trying to help me himself. He got annoyed that I was so nervous and said he wouldn't remove my 2 wisdom teeth unless i had anesthesia or valuum to put me to sleep. I have already had my 2 other wisdom teeth pulled by another dentist, and i was fully awake for that, so this procedure was nothing new. But he talked down to me and seemed agitated that i was anxious. After numbing my face with novocain, he left me to attend to other patients and then told the nurses that i should probably cancel the appt and come back when I'm calmer. So I got up and left the with a numb face and my wisdom teeth still intact and told them I'm going to find another oral surgeon. That was the only bad dentist experience I've ever had in my 28 years. If he doesn't feel comfortable attending to patients that aren't drugged, then he doesn't know what he's doing. Lots of people get anxious, and not all of them take drugs or get anesthesia just so the dentist feels at ease. He's supposed to make the patient feel at ease, and he did the complete opposite.

Dr. Bacos does not belong treating children. He would not allow us to stay with our young daughter until she was put out for a tooth extraction. Our daughter was in quite a state for this visit to the point of being physically sick in the office. When I told him I had a question, he walked away from me. The job was ultimately done, but at no point did he consider the anxiety my daughter had over this appointment. Dr. Bacos should not treat people who have any fear about the dentist as he refuses to talk to patients to ease their anxiety or to answer questions. The rest of the staff seemed fine and I hope there are more qualified oral surgeons there who are better equipped to deal with such young patients.

Wisdom tooth removal - caused lingual nerve damage meaning he cut the nerves to both halves of my tongue severing mobility, taste, and causing permanent pain. He also left sutures and a thick layer of scar tissue from his hack -job. This surgeon should not be allowed to operate. His after-care treatment was to get rid of me and treat me like I did something wrong because he was afraid of a lawsuit. He was more worried about his wallet than the pain I was in. Pretty much dismissed me from his care and I had to find other specialists on my own to help me. Also had difficulty getting insurance to pay for the follow up care because he wouldn't confirm the diagnosis. I eventually did but once the damage is done there is no surgery that can fix it. Specialists were upset with the amount of scar tissue which they cut back to keep it from shrinking and causing more pain. Other doctors also don't want to treat you because they don't want to have to testify in court in case of a lawsuit. What a total nightmare of a practice stay far away from Bacos and his entire staff...FAST FOOD SURGERY..don't even wait for you to recover from anesthesia before they rush you out of the chair for the next patient.

This surgeon damaged my lingual nerves (nerves to the tongue and gums) causing permanent burning pain and numbness to my tongue and gums. He treated me as though I were a threat when the damage became apparent and was very curt, rude, and reluctant to refer me to specialists. 6 years later the damage has not healed completely. It is difficult to taste food, talk, or kiss. The lack of compassion and care was disturbing and compounded my anxiety. The surgery was very unprofessional - his staff seemed untrained and very young and inexperienced. I was sent home from the office before the anesthesia wore off because he had another surgery patient waiting. My fiance had to carry me out of the office because I could not stand. The assistants moved me to another chair while I was still a sleep. His fast food surgery left me devestated and cynical about doctors. The injury was treated as Mass General where the Neuro-Surgeon commented on the excessive scar tissue and diagnosed the injury. Perhaps his tennis elbow or aging hands has caused a loss of dexterity. I often wonder if there are others like me who have been through this and unable to sue due to the consent form.

I had my first cleaning in a long time and Dr Bacos was great. There was a lot of cleaning to do but Dr Bacos was quick and gentle. I reccommend this dentist.
