Had all four bone impacted wisdom teeth out, asked to be sedated. He said no, even though literally everyone else I know was. Acted annoyed when I couldn’t move my tongue where he wanted after 8 shots of novocaine. 12 years later I’m still horrified.

$4000 just for extraction of 17 teeth. Did not bother to tell me what my share after insurance would be. Too much money! Go to Tufts for free or reduced payments.

I was completely blown away! His staff know the procedures inside out, and walked me through them step by step (its better to be over informed than not at all). They are professional, gentle, and a pleasure to work with. he was quick, i only had to take 2 hours and a day off from work during the consult, the surgery, and the follow up.
The bill was right in the ball park according to my mom and her co workers who got similar procedures done at other dentists. My bill came to $1,000 and i paid it in full, i think they were a little skeptical at seeing a kid my age send in such a large amount and it took them a few weeks to cash it which was a little annoying.
He even gave me a copy of the xray to show my kids in the pre med camp i was working for!
A pleasure to work with, quick, and painless (wisdom teeth especially impacted ones hurt anyways) but If i need further treatment (most likely wont) i will go back to him.
Absolutely world class, however, i am disappointed he does not have adverts or a website, but his waiting room was so full he probably gets his business by word of mouth and cant keep up with the demand! and i was there at 9 in the morning!

Removal of a back tooth. He asked a couple of questions, did not use any type of gel before the novacaine or tell me what he was doing. When he came back in he had me put my head back, stuck a piece of gauze in my mouth, started tugging at the tooth for a few minutes. Had to stop and get another tool the assistant had to look around for, went back to yanking it took about 10 minutes to finally get the tooth out, put a couple of stitches in, and walked away. I said thank as he was leaving and he didn't respond at all. This was on Thursday and still in a lot of pain, swelling, throbbing. This hurt so much I'm afraid to go back to check out what's wrong in case it makes it worse. Would not recommend at all.

Today i had my wisdom tooth removed at Dr garlands office. his entire staff was amazing. they comforted me throughout the entire procedure. dr garland is an amazing surgeon and my whole family will go to no other doctor than him. i was very nervous when he was injecting me with Novocaine and one of his lovely assistants held my hand for reassurance. i'm glad i went to his office for this procedure and i highly recommend him for anyone else looking for a highly knowledgeable and professional oral surgeon.

I personally would not reccomend anyone with feelings to go and have work done by dr. Garland. I went to him this month to have four of my impacted wisdom teeth taken out and he is one of the rudest people i have ever come in counter with!!! He dose great work but he has absolutly no bedside mannor!!! He is rude and abrupt and speaks to you as if you were a child. I left my fallow up appointment in tears because of the way he had spoken to me throughout the appoinmetnt! Dispite his horrible personality his nurses are wonderful. I give them credit for remaining a godd attitude when working with a doctor like that all day!!!!

Great experience, will refer others for great dental work. Never have I felt so important after a simple tooth extraction. Great one on one care.

I got four wisdom teeth out with Dr. Garland, and overall the experience was great. Scheduling was flexible, and they competently solved an insurance issue. The actual procedure went very quickly and without much pain. His staff all were very friendly and accommodating. Dr Garland all three times I met him appeared very busy and rushed, and did not take the time I had wished he did in consulting or talking to me. This was the only major complaint I had, and everything else went very easily. Would Recommend highly for price range.
