I am so happy to have found this office! I'm pretty particular about my teeth and even more particular about my dentist. To say I was impressed with Dr. Skeens is an understatement. He's a fabulous dentist. He was able to get me in and out with a new crown in the same day... no waiting! He's thorough and extremely detail oriented. Exactly what you want your dentist to be! Dr. Skeens made sure I was completely happy before I left and even called me that night to make sure I was feeling ok. I was so impressed that I referred my father (who's even pickier about his teeth than I am) and he's now scheduled next month with Dr. Skeens to get an implant! We are very satisfied patients! Thank you, Dr. Skeens!

About Front Desk: The front desk staff is welcoming and they provide great customer service. Victoria, the office manager, took the time to answer all of my questions. Booking the appointment was painless and easy breezy!

I highly recommend Dr. Skeens and his staff for all your dental needs. We were visiting the area from out of state and my teenage daughter had an issue arise that needed immediate attention. Dr. Skeens and his staff worked her into their schedule immediately and fixed the problem. We were able to carry on with our vacation without missing a beat. It was a great experience, it made me wish we lived in the area to have them handle all our dental needs. The offices were clean, new, and the staff was very friendly and professional. They really made us feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you so much Dr. Skeens and your staff!

My 16 year old daughter had 6 porcelain veneers. Although she had braces from age 12 - 14, due to adult teeth that never came in, her teeth were misshapen and one of her two front teeth came in with a spot on it that nothing would fix. Now her SMILE is AMAZING! Thanks to Dr. Skeens, the outcome is better than we could have imagined!

I have had dental problems since I was 10, that means I have had a lot of time on a dental chair in many offices. I dreaded seeing a dentist because of all the bad experiences I have had before. I am now 29 Years old and my wife and I have been going to Dr. Skeens for the past 5 years. I have had cleanings, fillings, a crown and a root canal performed within these past 5 years at his office and have not had any problems. Its a small office where you are treated like a person and not a number. My 2 year old also went in for her first time cleaning and she left the place with a toy and a smile. His work is great and his staff is friendly, this is a place where the customer comes first and it shows by the way that patients are treated as soon as they walk in the door. R. Paniagua

About December of 2011, I walked-in w/out an appointment and had never been to his office before. I had been to the urgent care around the corner because I had a horrible toothache. Dr. Skeens and his staff saw how much pain I was in and managed to move some things just a bit to fit me in right then! After identifying the problem, Dr. Skeens made a few phone calls and found a highly recommended endodontist (or maybe an oral surgeon, I can't remember) who could take me immediately for a root canal. It was done that afternoon! (To repair a root canal where not all of the root had been extracted several years earlier.) The next morning Dr. Skeens had me back in and he found that the pain was better on the side where the tooth had been extracted, but my continuing pain was indeed independent of that I felt the day before -- and that I needed another root canal on the other side. He had me back in to the other guy that afternoon! Dr. Skeens then did both crowns. He and his staff are top-notch. Very caring and professional, but seem like they are long-time family friends. I felt very comfortable and have been pleased. This office is highly recommended. I was in so much pain to begin with and had no insurance, otherwise = 100%

On September 9th, 2012 I was in a serious cycling accident in Encinitas which resulted in my front left tooth being completely broken and the neighboring tooth being cracked in half. The following day Dr. Skeens extracted the broken front tooth and performed an initial bone graft. Over the course of the next 10 months, I came to see Dr Skeens and his staff many, many times for both work related to my injury as well as for general dentistry (including an injury-required root canal). Dr. Skeens made me feel comfortable at all times - not just in the process, but in the belief that when it was over I'd be BETTER than new. Dr. Skeens provided my implants and crowns with care and skill, and my smile has actually never been better! Given the traumatic nature of my experience - plus a less-than-desireable history with dentists in the past - I can honestly say that Dr. Skeens is among the most talented, compassionate and caring health care professionals I've ever come across. It's worth noting that Dr. Skeens not only cares for my teeth, but for that of my wife and two teen-age children. I simply could not speak more highly of Dr. Skeens and his entire staff, and if more stars were available I'd give without hesitation

I had not seen a dentist in 10 years, so there was a lot of work that needed to be done. From extractions to crowns, all was done in a timely manner, professionally with no discomfort. Dr. Skeen provided a detailed list of what needed to be done and explained each procedure to make me feel at ease. Victoria was professional and detail-oriented. I am the proud owner of a great smile :) ABSOLUTELY I would recommend Dr. Skeen and his staff!!!

I've been to several different Dental offices for fillings, cleaning and had a root canal and bridge done. Not one of these facilities can compare to the experience I've had with Dr. Skeens and his team. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Skeens' very knowledgeable and a very skilled dentist. He's also very cautious of your well being and puts you at ease. I walked in with excruciating pain and very nervous. Prior to my visit with Dr. Skeens, I was told by another dentist, elsewhere, that they wouldn't be able to save my tooth. I'm glad I had a second opinion and am now able to save it. During the entire visit, I felt like I was treated with first class service. No rush, he took his time and explained the process thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Skeens!
