Dr. Link removed saliva gland and said he would remove it from under the jaw. He actually cut inside and outside the mouth from throat to just below the ear in appx. 2006. I have no feeling in r/ side of tongue. When I ask him why he cut inside the mouth he said (change of plans) I personally would not recommend him to anyone. He was not honest with me in what he would do . After talking to two other surgeons who do this surgery, they both said they would never cut inside the mouth. This surgery has left me with a lifetime of oral damage. Do your research before choosing.
