Read Reviews for Dr. Dale Uyeda
I had a crown that was sized wrong causing me to bite my cheek causing a sore in my mouth. When I went back for an adjustment he was reluctant to do anything and became angry when I had to go back a third time. He is friendly and pleasant as long as everything goes smoothly but if you need more follow-up work than he wants to do he doesn't want to be bothered with you.

I am a dental hygienist and I go to Dr. Uyeda instead of the doctors that I have worked for. Dr. Uyeda is a perfectionist. He has done my crowns, fillings, night guard. Dr. Uyeda has a great and caring chair-side manner. The office works very hard to get the patient the maximum amount from the insurance companies. Dr. Uyeda's assistant is also a registered nurse. I have never felt rushed during any procedure. Also, Dr. Uyeda is honest. He doesn't try to sell work you don't need. He also refers his patient's out to dental specialists when the patient has work that needs a specialist. Most dentists are a jack of all trades and master of none. But, not Dr Uyeda. I am a dental hygienist who has seen a lot of great and bad dental work. Since Dr. Uyeda is a perfectionist my entire family goes to him, even my adult sons fly in from New York to go to Dr. Uyeda.
About Hygienist: Dr. Uyeda does his own cleanings on his patients. You get a very thorough cleaning.

Dr. Uyeda was my dentist for 3 years from 1993 to 1995. I took my mother (who had no insurance) for a check up. He recommended removing all her lower teeth and placing a full lower denture. He charged $2,000 for this procedure. We went to his office every week for two months. My mother went through extreme pain and discomfort, lost weight and suffered at his hands. She would bleed profusely could not sleep at night due to the pain she was in. The denture was useless because Dr. Uyeda did did not size it correctly. When my mother returned home to her regular dentist he indicated that most of her teeth should not have been removed as there was nothing wrong with them and my mother had to pay for a new set of dentures. Dr. Uyeda reimbursed around $375 for the botched job - hardly adequate especially considering the pain and suffering my mother went through. I will live with the guilt of letting this "dentist" torture my mother for the rest of my life.
