I’m so pleased with my visits to Dr. Ptak. First, I needed oral surgery for an abscessed tooth. The procedure went well and my tooth was saved. After about three years the tooth gave me problems again so I went back and an implant was recommended. Notes regarding my current health was added to my file and the doctor discussed options with me. I decided an implant was the best way to go. This procedure involved multiple visits which went well with minimum discomfort. Dr. Ptak was aware I have arthritis in my neck and made sure I was comfortable. Post-Op instructions were provided and the doctor and his assistant made follow-up calls to make sure I was following them and feeling okay. It was a positive experience.
About Front Desk: Dr. Ptak's assistant was professional in her manner and courteous. Chair side the assistant is supportive and quick when called to action.
I know this doctor: 10

I made an appointment at certain time, when arrived door where locked... called Dr. office number, I was informed I have to wait for 2 hours to be seen. Tone of voice nasty, rapid and very unprofesional. Finally doctor opened the door still in rubber gloves yelling that he is with another client and can't talk to me but I can sit in the office till he will be done......No manners, helper or front desk person in one yelled from another room that he needs to finish right away and come to his patient. Wondering if he ever change his gloves?......

Poor service, extremely messy and dirty office. I was ignored and left alone for over an hour at a time. During a 2.5 hour consultation I saw the doctor for about 10-15 minutes total. I had to listen to staff fighting, slamming doors, cursing!!!! I had to ask for a pain medicine since I had had a double extraction in a clean patient-friendly dental clinic about 10 minutes before comming into this office. No one asked if I was fine when I was sitting alone in pain even though the assistants walked through the room where I was sitting several times, no one including the doctor asked if i needed pain medication, even though I stressed that I was in huge discomfort and I was still bleeding. I will never go there again.
