On the three occasions I had visited Dr. Sole's office, I had extractions. There was no pain during or after the surgery. Also, I had recommended him to a friend who had a severe abcess with facial swelling. My friend was extremely impressed with Dr. Sole.
Dr. Sole's chair-side manners are gentle, patient, and reassuring. His office staff is friendly, gives clear instructions, and is very pleasant.
I cannot comment on cost because a doctor's expertise cannot be measured in dollars and cents.
This doctor is excellent along all dimensions, and I would (and have) recommend him to anyone needing an oral surgeon.

pulled two of my wisdom teeth, and the whole procedure was over within 10 minutes. minimal pain on the 1st day and no pain on the 2nd day. swelling was barely visible. no dry socket either!

He is great, honest, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease even when I was in such pain and then for a surgery following. He knows what he is doing. His staff is great as well and they actually keep wait times to a minimum and you go in almost right away upon arrival. Very organized files and helpful with sending claims to your insurance after you pay so you get some reimbursement. I would use him again though I hope to not have the need. Great experience!

First time seeing an oral surgeon. He made me feel very comfortable and explained to me thoroughly the process he is undertaking to review my teeth to determine if a wisdom tooth extraction is needed as I thought that it was coming out. After about 10 minutes of examination and x-rays, he gave me a diagnosis of nothing is wrong. Other doctors could have simply removed my wisdom tooth and charged me a lot of money but he gave me the proper checkup and determined that my wisdom tooth was in proper place. He then recommended me to see a general dentist for further review. It is tough to find a real honest dentist in NYC and I consider Dr. Sole to be one. The only negative for the poor looking facility with the old machines although his service more than made up that flaw.

Dr. Sole has an excellent bed side manner. He treats his patients with respect, and quiets any anxieties by answering all questions. I am a Registered Nurse and know how patients deserve to be treated.
