I was a patient of Dr. Kays and I have both top and bottom implants. 12 implants to be exact. The work Dr. Kay did on me is a diaster. Both the top and bottom teeth have come loose and the work he did is anything but Good. No wonder he shut down his practices without any warning. Meanwhile does anyone know his where-a- bouts? He left hundreds of patients half finished.

Giedon Kay has been in the NY Times and the New York Post as being "missing teeth missing dentist". He was still allowed to continue to practice. The Queens DA and Attorney General has been notified about hilm. I and others have suffered both finicallly ( work not completed) and monetary. Recently, I was told his licence was taken away. I had been in contact with the Queens Dental Society who had knon about Dr. Kay's very negitive reputation and did not protect me from the work he pre formed that is now affecting my implanted frontcaps (chiped). The Office of the professions had me examined by 5 of their dentists and found 6 very poor and substandard implants procedures. I have all of this documented. Queens dental society certainly does not care about patients " we are really here for the dentist" a secretary told me. I then contacted the dental OFFICE OF THE PROFSESSIONS who found him not responsible ( after 82 compolaints) for his dental work. I need a lawyer to begin a suit with this Dentist. Other clients of Kay ? I know there is . I need to find some of his other clients.. I just want my front teeth fixed I don't want any monentary reimbersment just to fix the horrible mess Dr. Kay has made. Rebecca Barry

He is a scamster. he took 90% of the money upfront and never completed my treatment. One fine day all of his staff vanished from his 46th Street Office in New York City. The whole procedure lasted for 1.5 years because of a failure in the first attempt and one fine day he was gone with all my money and other co-patients. I am left with a dental implant which is now without a crown. I would never recommend him to anybody but will disuade all to come near him.

I agreed to two ten-tooth implanted bridges, up and down. Implant surgery was done in 2 parts. In both cases 15-20 shots of novacaine was given with no numbing cream applied. This gave a throbbing headache which lasted through the whole procedures. In positioning the implants panaramic xray was never referred to. No precision measuring equipment was used to calibrate the depth of each drilling of the jaws bones, thus Kay drilled 2 holes into my sinuses. On one side this left a hole such that air/food flowed into my sinus and nose. One the other side Kay left an implant, which was forced up into my sinus as the gum healed. The implant lodged in my sinus undetected until I consulted a different Dr to heal the now dime-sized hole on the other side. The implant in my sinus had to be surgically removed. No xrays were taken during or after surgeries thus there is no uniformity of height or spacing. Oblivious to my wishes, Kay set implants for 2 14 tooth bridges, and now I am told I'll have to live with that. Surgery began Oct, 05> 10 mos. later, neither bridge has been built and 2 failed implants must be redone, involving 6 more mos. I would say more if there were space.

Last year, I took a chance and visited Dr. Kay on several occassions to have two implants completed. The procedures went perfectly and I am very pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

My name is Abe. I'm a dental implant patient of Dr. Gideon Kay in Flushing NY office. I have had upper and lower dentures for over 15 years. Since Dr. Kay placed implants in my mouth one year ago I'm a new person. I can eat everything. The whole treatment took approximately 6 months. Whenever I need to reach Dr. Kay for any question, even over the weekend, his answering service contacted him and he returned my calls. My entire experience was very good and the final result perfect.
