My dentist referred me to do a tooth extraction, I made an appointment and brought my own X-ray. I spent a grand total of 3 minutes talking to this guy because he was too busy flirting with lady receptionist up front. My initial impression of this guy was not good so decided to check for reviews and discovered how terrible he really was. I cancelled my appointment and went with someone else. A few weeks later I get a bill in the mail because my dental insurance didn't cover $100 dollar fee for consultation(No one ever mentioned this to me from their office) and of course a $85 dollar fee for a Panoramic X-ray even though I had brought my own from my current dentist. I called their office hoping to resolve this issue but off course they refused to acknowledge their mistake. I told the lady I would see her in court. So now I'll have to deal with collections. I plan to make my dentist aware of this guys crooked act at my next appointment.

this doctor is a fraud.i needed a biopsy and was told to wait 1 month.i wanted this biopsy before 1 month and was refused.4 days later I went to mt sini doctors in manhattan and I had a biopsy.it was negative, when i went back to dr berk with the report instead of calling the doctors he told me to go have them cut out the growth.i explained they were md and not dds.he told me to come back 2 more times.the last time I was there on9/19/2013 over 1 month had past and he told me he would not treat me.this man is a fraud.

Worst dentist/oral surgeon I have ever been to. I had to get an infected wisdom tooth extracted-it had a cavity. I am an adult and
Dr Berk's response: "I do this crap all day. I don't want to do it. It's high risk." He said that several times. Totally Unprofessional, unsympathetic and Un caring. Stay AWAY!!!
I went to another Oral Surgueon who did job no problem. Total opposite of Dr. Berk. Don't go here unless you don't care about being treated like garbage.

I would never ever use this doctor again. In fact i called the dentist that recommended him and ask how in the world he referred me to him. In short he was an animal. I told him i wasnt getting numb and he said dont worry about it. I screamed and cried I was in so much pain. He was pulling out an infected tooth with just one shot and considering he charged me out of pocket for a consult he should have seen it was infected and gave me antibiotics before i came back. The referring dentist told me that someone else also complained about him. I have never been treated this way in my life. I have told anyone who will listen not to use him.

Front desk very helpful. Too early to say how good he is. Insurance help is ok, had to pay cash for anesthesia and implant, since my insurance doesn't cover. Chair-side manner is fine, he tries to be funny.

Dr.Berk was marvelous! He helped me to relax- and he is so very handsome! He tries hard to make his patients comfortable. Would certainly recommend him to others.

This dentist only wants to pull teeth. He does no diagnosis at all! I went to him with swollen and bleeding gums in left rear of my mouth and he pulled a tooth and put me on penecilin. When I woke up two days later with the gums on the other side of my mouth swollen I saw another doctor (because Berk was out and didn't leave anyone to see his patients). The other doctor diagnosed me with a virus and prescribed a cream that alleviated my pain right away. The tooth did not have to be pulled, Dr. Berk ran his office like a production line and spent no more than 5 minutes with me before he pulled my tooth!
