Always the consummate professional, Dr. Pies went above and beyond to care for my daughter with autism when she needed 4 wisdom teeth removed. He and staff went out of their way to make the whole experience stress free, and as pain free for my daughter, as possible
About Front Desk: The office staff were exceptional. The were a key element in supporting and encouraging my daughter with autism through what would otherwise been a scary and stressful experience. We left without 4 wisdom teeth, but feeling we had gained an office full of friends.

I was treated quite well from the time I entered the office till I left. The staff was courteous and quite professional. They answered all questions a made me feel quite relaxed. I knew going in that I was going to have a tooth extracted. They explained what was going to happen.
Dr Pies came in, did the initial exam, took the x-ray himself. He explained what he was going to do. He took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel quite comfortable with what was going to happen.
He made sure that the procedure was as pain-free as possible. He explained what was being done, what was going to happen after the procedure and what I could expect. The staff stayed with me until I was able to leave, made sure I knew what to expect, how to contact the Dr in case of any problems.
Overall, I couldn't have had a better experience in an oral surgeon's office.

Mr. Pies has incompetant office help. They are aware that they need to get a predetermination of dental benefits but lie when the insurance company calls them and questions them. Thay lie and say the patient specifically did not want to know actual coat.
I believe such action is encouraged ny most owners and supervisors. Hence, Mr. Pieman is the ringleader of incompetentcy .
Aviod the pieman at all cost unless you already have a comparison quote. However an office with the scam attitude will also cut corners with your teeth.

Dr. Pies was an amazing oral surgeon when I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth cut out. His sense of humor made me less nervous and the office was very relaxing. I never would have believed that from the time I was asleep to a week later, I had NO pain what-so-ever! I would travel across the country if I needed to so he could be my surgeon...he is the only one I will ever go to!!!
