I was a jaw surgery patient of Dr. Hauser for over 3 years. He did dental tooth extractions for me twice - both of which were virtually painless, efficient, and very well done - after which I decided to go to him for my double jaw surgery.
I consulted about 8 different Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons in the greater Akron-Cleveland area (even considering the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota - I took my jaw surgery very seriously!) and decided that Dr. Hauser was the most experienced, helpful, and skillful surgeon I could want.
The surgery, which I had last June, was extremely well done and I was amazed with the results. I recovered within 2-3 months (even running cross country starting right after the 2nd month!) and with Dr. Hauser and his staff's careful instructions and weekly check-ins (which a lot of other surgeons don't do), I am now in my 6th month of recovery, and have fully recovered without any complications at all.
The surgery was very efficient, and the doctors and residential staff that helped were very caring and involved. I am more than just satisfied with the surgery and Dr. Hauser's care. Dr. Hauser changed my life in many ways, for the better, and I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Hauser is a great dentist--with a stellar resume as can be seen on his website [a whole six pages!]. However, his patient care is severly lacking. Consulatations are rushed and do not thoroughly alleviate patient concern. When patient presents a large amount of questions--Dr. Hauser dismisses them and is unable to deal with people who may experience dental anxiety. He is a great doctor for an in and out procedure because his credentials are there. But if you're looking for an understanding doctor--he's not your man.

Very good clinical skills. Difficult tooth extraction. Successful but long recovery. Highly recommend

Dr. Hauser removed massive tori from under my tounge. I had stupidly put off this surgery for many years. Every dentist that I saw recommended him as the best oral surgeon in Cleveland. I finally made the appointment and found him to be an extremely thorough and competent doctor. My surgery was a complete success. Dr. Hauser has a very calm, focused demeanor. I understand why one of the dentist that I talked to said that she would send her children to him, if they needed a procedure done.

Friendly and sympathetic. I had my wisdom teeth out, and he did a great job of explaining all the risks and things I needed to know about surgery, gave me some ativan for my nerves, let me stay as long after as I needed afterward in the same room. I felt almost no pain or weird sensations afterward.
The only thing I didn't like was the wait time to initially see the doctor, I made an appointment and had to wait almost an hour after the scheduled time.

He is a wonderful doctor. The staff is great. I would recommend his office over any other oral surgeon.

Dr. Hauser is a good dentist/surgeon and a kind man. His staff (with the notable exception of the receptionist who was grumpy and brusque) is very nice, considerate, etc. I was very worried about my procedure but it went smoothly and I had very little pain and no complications. Dr. Hauser seems to really enjoy his work and be excited about helping people. Everyone I have talked to who knows him highly recommends him. I think you pay a little more but I would not hesitate to go to him again -- it is worth it.
