Removal of wisdom teeth. I did end up getting a dry socket but the office fit me in right away to help with the pain.
About Front Desk: Insurance can be tricky but I appreciate the staff being up front about what insurance they are in-network with and how the process works.

Richard Scheetz maimed me. I've been trying for twenty years to fix what he did to my face.
Run away from this man.
He claimed that a jaw advancement would correct my bite and that he'd compensate for my chin by moving it downward slightly. What he actually did was to move one side of my jaw farther forward than the other, and to shove my chin not only downward but pointing off towards the right side of my face. It's uneven from left to right and also from top to bottom -- he shoved the right side down farther than the left side.
The asymmetry is bad enough that it qualifies as a deformity by standard medical definitions. Scheetz didn't care. He insisted it was fine.
Try to find a jaw surgeon who'll fix what another surgeon screwed up. Go on; try. Most simply admit that they can't do it -- give them points for honesty, which is more than Scheetz showed. A few top-flight surgeons think they can improve it if not fix it, but their prices are unreachable for a normal middle-class person.
You'll probably live with the work of Scheetz for the rest of your life.
Read other reviews instead of just glancing at the number of stars. The only people giving good ratings are talking about how he managed to pull out a tooth.

3 wisdom teeth pulled/extracted. 1. Were told that if there were any problems, even after hours or weekend, to call and they would come in. Do it all the time. "We're here for you." 2. Called on a Sunday, and was told to go get anit-nausea meds that are over the counter (phenergan). It is NOT over the counter. 3. Called Monday and was asked if I thought this was their problem or if the pediatrician should see the patient. (Shouldn't THEY be checking that out?) Then they offered an appointment time 5 and 6 hours away. I would expect being worked in since things were going wrong. They say call, but do nothing when you do. 4. This ended in an ER visit and 5 hours and a KAT scan later: absesses! (They had given no antibiotics after the surgery, which I'd never heard of either. Makes me wonder more about the fact that his son was assisting in surgery that day, heard him say so...even though his degree was in business! Something is way wrong here. We were referred here by our orthodontist. NEVER AGAIN!

Dr Scheetz did a bone graft plus sinus lift surgery combined.
I am waiting for complete healing so he can do implant surgery sometime the end of this month or in March. Iam anxiously awaiting surgery completion so he can do the same surgery on my left upper jaw.He is a wonderfulsurgeon.
He is very knowlegeable and compassionate. I have recommended him to several of my friends and family members. Dr Scheetz is a great oral surgeon. I would say he is outstanding.

nice office, nice staff, no pain...I had an extaction and then implant put in and it was relatively painless. the only problem was that they were a little bit on the expensive side, but they were close by so that helped.

Dr. Scheetz and his staff are absolutely the most skilled and professional I have ever seen. The staff was very informative about pre, during, and post surgery procedures as well as billing and insurance. After the surgery, I was only left with mild to moderate pain and swelling, and had no complications from my wisdom teeth surgery. Dr. Scheetz provided all drugs, rinses and necessary equipment on-site, which saved me time and money. To boot, Dr. Scheetz even personally called me twice post-surgery to ensure that I was well and to see if I had any questions or concerns. Dr. Scheetz and his staff have done a world-class job and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs oral surgery.

Dr Scheetz is absolutley the best health care practitioner I or my wife have ever visited. He and his staff were very professional, personable, respectful and competent. Dr. Scheetz went so far as to call me at home on Christmas Eve to check my condition and recovery progress. I informed him that I suspected that I was developing dry sockets as a result of my wisdom teeth extraction. He, without delay, gave me his home number, as the office would be closed for the next couple of days. I was in terrible pain by the next afternoon and had to call him for a script. He called it in, from his home, while suffering from the flu himself and had me feeling better immediately. This type of patient care is new for me and is so welcome and refreshing. I would highly recommend this gentleman and his staff to anyone in need of dental care.
