Read Reviews for Dr. Robert Myers
Dr. Robert Myers performed wisdom tooth extraction on my teenager. When my son arrived home, he knew something was wrong: he could not rinse with the prescribed rinse because half of his mouth was paralyzed. He realized his eye could not blink/close, his eyebrow could not raise, he could not smile and had difficulty swallowing. Dr. Myers diagnosed the condition as Bells palsy but the sad part is that he took no responsibility for the fact the surgery caused trauma to the facial nerves. He actually denied it. Worse yet, it was disappointing that when we inquired, Dr. Myers got angry at the general questions and soon stomped out of the room without providing post-op care of any kind. My son ON HIS OWN spoke to a neurologist, and we asked his pediatrician for help. The meds were needed immediately. His eye should be protected. My son is scared and embarrassed. He cannot smile. I also found it unprofessional when addressed as 'mom' this 'mom' that instead of using my proper name. If your gut tells you something is just not right with Dr. Myers, something insincere or unnatural, move on to another surgeon. It is not worth being too proud or being too tough.
