Dr. Hossaini-Zadeh & his assistant, Felicia completed my tooth extraction on 4/24/08. The treatment is not 100% complete but I did not want to wait to sing his praises. My reason:I had infection caused by a cracked root in #18. First, my dentist referred me to an endo-dontist. Then, I sought treatment from the endo-dontist who completed my root-canal retreat a while ago. He is a good dr. but I felt like he was pressuring me into an implant right away. I then went to an endo-dontist in my network who had no bed-side manner what so ever & was un-professional. He spoke to his receptionist about my tooth #18 within earshot; I wanted to get up and leave his office. He said that I should go to an oral surgeon so I could thank him for that. I then looked in Network (Aetna) & found Dr. Hossaini-Zadeh. He was the first Docter who spent time & explained ALL my options. He & his assistant made a scary procedure palatable. I am fortunate to be in his care. If I do seek an implant, he will be my doctor of choice. UCSF is lucky to have him on staff. I felt his staff respects him & that speaks volumes about his leadership style. I have already recommended him to my co-worker. My 1 warning:be patient phone VRU is a pain & can be time-consuming.
