Root canals, general family dental care and treatment.
My concern involves how a trusting patient can trust a dentist who states that a root canal is absolutely necessary without taking the necessary steps (see below) to confirn that an actual root canal is required.
1. Performing a thorough visual exam
2. Checking for temperature sensitivity
3. Observing pressure sensitivity
4. X-ray as only a single point in the diagnosis process.
5. Check the tooth with an electronic nerve sensitivy tool.
If these tests had been performed holistically, the probability of not having to go through four (4) root canals would have been both greater with much less cost and pain involvement.

Dr. Hausauer is very professional, and keeps up with new procedures and techniques. I'm not sure if she still does, but she used to teach one day a week at dental school in San Francisco. Definitely approve of her, and can recommend to all.
