I saw Dr. Werther one time. I had had 2 complex jaw surgeries about 5 years prior, and saw him about fixing my residual asymmetric jaws from bone reabsorption, which looks like a deformity of my jaws. He couldn't be bothered with me, acted brusque, acted as though I had no business seeing his all-important self, had no recommendations. I couldn't stand him. I believe I found his name when thinking that any doctor at Vanderbilt would be good. He's quite knowledgeable. So, go do research. I would never recommend him.

Dr Werther is kind, professional and attentive. His use of sedation is careful and tailored to each patient. My son had a very positive experience with his wisdom tooth extraction.
About Front Desk: Elaine and Cindy are super! Friendly and informative. Philip and Linda in the back office are also terrific.

Treatment of burning mouth. Nothing painful, very reasonable cost and the most concern I've seen in a long time from a doctor determined to help me as a patient! I would highly recommend him to anyone for any oral health or surgery needs! Wonderful doctor!

Dr. Werther performed a procedure on my 8 year old daughter. He and his staff were excellent! My daughter had a considerable amount of anxiety regarding her upcoming procedure and Dr. Werther and his staff were able to ease her fears through their fun and casual interaction with her during our pre-op visit. This approach carried over to the day of her procedure and helped to relax her from the moment we walked through the front door. I would highly recommend Dr. Werther to everyone I know and if we should need services of this type in the future can guarantee that we will be returning clients.
In addition to our personal experience my daughter's orthodontist has allowed Dr. Werther to work on his children and when her dentist found out we were going to Dr. Werther he gave us a glowing recommendation and indicated that he had personally had Dr. Werther perform a procedure on him. In my book if two dental healthcare professionals are willing to allow Dr. Werther to work on them and/or their family members that's a major endorsement in terms of ability, etc.
