Dr. Barfield removed a benign tumor from my mandible in 1978. A few days later I was having some problems with the incision. I called his answering service and left a message. He called me back within one hour. He told me he would meet me at his office (this was a Sunday afternoon). Following the surgery I returned to see him once a year. Each time he refused additional payment. These annual appointments went on for 30+ years until his retirement.
He was one of those rare dentists who actually had a personality. During my many visits to see him, he was never in a hurry. He would always listen to my questions and give me straight answers. He was dedicated to his profession and extremely caring of his patients. Dr. Barfield passed away in 2015. A great dentist and an even better man.

Dr. Barfield and his receptionist as well as the hispanic assistant that assisted with my daughter were all so awesome. Initially, I complained because I had to travel so far. However, it was worth every mile. If there is ever a need for our family to
get any addidtional dental work done, he will be the one. You guys made my daughter feel so comfortable while I felt at ease. Keep up the good work guys!!

He was a very informative Dr. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and i survived. A little swelling and brusing but it eventually went away. I had enough meds to keep the pain gone.

Needless to say...6 months later...the right side of my mouth is still numb from my nerve being cut during oral surgery...i've been back serveral times and the only response i get is "it should get its feeling back soon" and then an appt is set up for a few weeks later to hear the same thing! The office could use some updating...1970's called and they want their decor back.

Dr. Barfield and his staff made sure I was relaxed and comfortable when I had my wisdom teeth cut out; I would highly recommend them.
