The front desk staff was very rude. Costs Were unreasonable and the doctor could use some better manners I won't be going back and will find a office that has friendlier staff

Dr. Mrazik explained my treatment plan to me, felt like I was under no obligations to schedule and pay on the spot. I waited to see what my copay would be and moved forward with my surgery. I was very pleased with his professionalism, humor, and pain free treatment. Unbelievably, I was pretty relaxed!
His assistance and staff were also helpful, although I did receive a bill a few weeks later that the insurance didn't cover. It was minimal so no big deal. Was happy with my surgery and recovery. Need more work done and will definitely
go back

I had a wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr. Jack Mrazik recently. I t was done professionally and pain free. Dr. Mrazik and his entire staff were great and answered all my questions. I have had several follow-up visits and Dr. Mrazik has reassured me that "he wants me to call with any concerns" . He has been wonderful and I have not felt that I have been an imposition to him or his staff. I will recommend Dr. Mrazik to family and friends.

We paid all costs and had a zero balance on the two visits to this Dr for my husband. You have no choice - the dr's policy is to pay on the spot before agreeing to the procedure. We just received a letter that stated: Oct 2, 2012 - During recent extensive research we have discovered some problems with our computer software in reference to accounts with a balance due from patients. Some accounts may not have generated a statement for a number of years. Your accounts seem to have been one of those. Please find enclosed statement reflecting the current balance on your account. While we understand that this is unexpected news for you, the balance is still owed and payment should be rendered upon receipt of this letter. If you are unable to pay the balance in full now, please contact me immediately at 757-838-3975. Otherwise, we shall have no choice but to turn your account over to our collections attorney, at which point 40% will be added to the unpaid balance and your credit will be compromised for seven to ten years. Please do not make this step necessary. Sincerely, Dr Jack Mrazik DDS. My husband met with the Dr's staff today and they say we must pay this balance of over $400. This is unfair-his computer had the glitch!

My wife was referred by our family dentist to Dr Mrazik for an extraction. Although we did not have an appointment, we were seen somewhat quickly for an initial assessment, but due to the patient load (not Dr Mrazik's fault), it did take several hours of waiting before he could do the extraction. The staff was friendly and accomodating, offering explanations of every thing that was going to happen and what our post-operative options were. My wife was very comforable with Dr Mrazik and would recommend him to others.

I don't understand the previous bad review. I think it goes to show you get what you dish out. He pulled 8 teeth for me prior to getting braces when I was 13 and I had a very good experience. His chairside manner was very friendly and reassuring. He explained everything that was going to happen beforehand and what the recovery would be like and I had no surprises. He himself called the next evening to see how I was doing.
My mom had severe TMJ problems from '99-'00 that required surgery. Another oral surgeon in our area saw her first and sent her to Dr. Mrazik b/c he is considered THE BEST for TMJ issues. He practically remade her left jaw, and she had very little, if any, pain while recovering. My mom was a severe dental-phobe due to some very bad experiences with dentists in the past, but Dr. Mrazik put her totally at ease.
My stepdaughter had two molars pulled by him in '04 and he was great. However, at the time we were uninsured and we were charged $400 for the extractions, and $90 for a consultation, which is VERY HIGH for our area. His office manager would not accept payments, everything was due at visit prior to treatment.
I highly recommend him, but make sure you have good insurance b/c he is very expensive.

Dr. Mrazik performed my Osteotomy and did my implants several years ago and I found his procedures and his mannerisms most professional. I have found that a person gets what he gives regardless of the situation. I read with dismay the previous review and I could not believe the review was in reference to Dr. Mrazik. Dr. Mrazik was with me throughout my whole ordeal with the Osteotomy pre- and post- and exhibited professionalism, courteousness and cordiality. I would recommend Dr. Mrazik to anyone who has to have the same procedures done that I had done.

Dr. Mrazik could brush up on chair side manners, and insurance billing could of been more up front with cost. He never removed stitches (nurse removed) nor did a follow up with me to check if bone graft was a success/I shopped around for another oral surgeon to complete my work.
