Just went to have a tooth extracted and from what I read of other reviews, I was anxious.
However I found him to be helpful, informative and it wasn't that painful. The cost was a lot less then what I expected.
The staff was pleasant and helpful. Yes I would highly recommend him to others.

I just had all of my wisdom teeth extracted no pain at all and didnt remember a thing. The staff were pretty amusing before i fell asleep and afterwards. It was a better expiernce than i thought it would be. I would highly recommend Meeks to anyone. I actually went back to work the next day hardly any swelling at all.

Had a wisdom tooth pulled. He was very rough even when I told him to stop. He didn't tell me what he was doing while he was doing it. The whole time he was trying to talk me into getting all my wisdom teeth out even though I just need one out. 2 days later my jaw is so swollen I cannot open it and my toungue is still numb which is believed to be nerve damage. he is a very rude impatient dentist.

I was referred to Dr. Meeks, who is an oral surgeon by my regular dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed. He seemed more than pleasant at my inital consultation, and even the day of the procedure. However, 3 days after the surgery, I could still not swallow, eat anyting etc. and was in a ton of pain. I demanded he see me, even though he didn't want to. He literally called me a drug addict and said I was "milking this" so I could get more pain pills. I just wanted to know what to do to make the pain stop, and was this normal. He went on with stories about, how he has prescribed pain meds for NON patients, how his patients have sold meds, etc. Eventually, he said, fine your in pain, this will make it stop, and prescribed DEMEROL! I objected saying I didn't want demerol, but he refused to prescribe anything else. At the end of the appointment (who I went to with my mother), I was crying, he was acting aloof, and then before I left he said I should bring any remaining pills back. Now a month after the surgery, my sockets have opened up from a raging infection, I am still in a ton of pain, and am so swollen I can't talk/eat/drinks,etc.
I did some research after the fact and boy do I wish I had done it BEFORE! DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

Office is incompetent.I went in for consultation for having 2 wisdom teeth removed.I spoke to Meeks, assistant & receptionist about procedure, all asked if I wanted to go to sleep which I replied emphatically yes.When I left, receptionist gave me estimate, which included anesthesia & reminder card on which she wrote current date instead of date of procedure.Less than 24 hrs before appt, they called & tried to reschedule.Me & my hubby had already had approved vac time off for appt so instead of moving day, they changed from 10am to 4pm.I arrived @ 3:45pm & called back @ 4:25pm.Assistant makes me resign consent form on which she had written wrong date & I had to correct her.Meeks comes in & says nothing;no explanation of what he is about to do.Next thing I know he is jamming painful needles in my mouth.I experience pressure & see a bloody tooth come out!At this point, I am panicing.I start yelling that I was supposed to be asleep & they have no idea what they are doing.They say it's not in my file that I was to go to sleep.What!?Even if it wasn't, they should have remembered asking me & me telling them that I wanted to go to sleep.I say it was on estimate & they looked & said that it was.They put me to sleep to pull the second one

I had to come back to his office at least 10 times after my 2 wisdom extractions. Everything he told me to do was hurting me, like he told me to put hydrogen peroxide in the hole. It ate the tissue away and exposed my bone. Do not go to this guy, he will just mess you up.
