I had to have my two front upper teeth removed. I had damaged them as a teenager in a bicycle accident. Root canals were done, but now they were infected. Dr. Chin was able to remove the two teeth, replace them with implants, and placed two temporary caps on the implants. I came in with teeth and left with teeth. I had to be careful with them for a few months, but everything healed perfectly and I have two good teeth to eat with again. Everything went very smoothly and his staff is excellent, comforting, and caring!!
About Front Desk: Everything was smooth from check-in, to insurance, to the nurses. They took care of me very well.

Dr Chin was recommended by my regular dentist for my wisdom teeth extraction. Although I had to pay a lot of money out of pocket after the insurance coverage, I decided to get all of them removed at the same time for simplicity sake.
I had an initial consultation and the procedure was explained to me clearly and a date for the surgery was set. The surgery itself was very quick, the staff was polite and helpful. I went home took the painkiller medication I had received in advance on the consultation date. The extraction sites healed pretty quickly and I was pain free in 3 days.
The problem started when one of the extraction site after it healed, it started swelling again and bone started jutting out. I had to go in another time, and this time the doctor scraped the jutting bone or tried to smoothen it out so that the gums would grow and cover the bone. I felt it was a hassle because of the multiple visits and extended recovery period.
I believe this might be a one off case and still give him 3 stars because of the excellent service and staff. I wasn't charged for the additional visits and the whole team at the office was very helpful overall.

Not only did Dr. Chin remove my daughter's wisdom teeth but he worked on my elderly father as well. Both experiences were terrific. Dr. Chin was so kind to my daughter who got scared and he just eased her anxiety.

Dr. Chin removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth. The day of the treatment I felt fine. That night I became violently ill and didn't stop bleeding until 72 hours after the surgery.
I had to visit the ER after Dr. Chin did not respond to his message system. Was diagnosed with SEVERE TMJ due to the extraction. I have been on pain killers for 4 months now due to the procedure. Still have not received a call back from the 4 messages I left for his office. They are willing to take your money and rip your teeth out, but their follow up leaves a lot to be desired. Beware!!!!

This is the place to go if you need your wisdom teeth extracted.
I had to have all of mine removed in April. I went in for the consultation, they took the x-ray, and went over the procedure. Dr. Chin went over possible complications and explained what was going to happen.
The actual surgery and recovery was ridiculously painless. I don't even remember being put out... but I was awake and alert afterwards and didn't feel any pain. I really didn't even need the Vicodin. Asprin was sufficient. No nerve damage, and I didn't end up with dry socket either. I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of his work.
My only knock on the place is the office staff. I had to correct them when they attempted to charge me for removing four teeth (my x-ray showed that I only had three), and they also miscalculated the amount that my insurance was going to cover. Let me also point out that he is an out-of-network provider for Premera, which meant that I had about $800 of out-of-pocket expenses. A tad expensive, I thought.
Really, the whole experience was much less painful than I thought it would be. The bottom line to me is that I was eating solid food without pain after 24 hours... can't ask for more than that!

If you are scared to death of the dentist, let alone an Oral Surgeon, then Dr. Chin is the one for you.
My fears are not just your normal fears, they are off the chart, along with sever panic attacks.
I met with another oral surgeon first, and it was the worse experience ever. I decided to try one more and that is when I met Dr. Chin.
Dr. Chin and his staff are the most caring and understanding professionals I have ever encountered. Every person that works for Dr. Chin is unbelievable. They make you feel like you are the only person they are taking care of and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I cant thank them enough. They understood the fears and worked with me to get through it. They took their time and I have to tell you the fear was much worse than the procedure itself. Dr. Chin is very gentle and it was over before I knew it.
If you want the best care ever from start to finish, Dr. Chin is the one!!
