Read Reviews for Dr. Brian Hartman
I have a congenital defect, an upper lateral incisor that never was replaced by an adult tooth.I lost the other one when a child and have had a space ever since. I did not want to lose the remaining tooth, but could not afford to get a permanent replacement. I visited Dr. Hartman to see if he could make a retainer I could wear at night when my tongue would relax and push the tooth out of alignment, further weakening it.
-He made the retainer, but decided to rearrange my other upper teeth without my permission, to be ready for braces which I cannot afford.
-Everything was OK until he changed the retainer to pull all my front uppers in to my mouth, destroying the alignment of the lowers and making it impossible to completely close my teeth at night without destroying the retainer. Upper teeth are now vertical and ugly.
-He stopped bringing me in annually when there was no evidence of retainer wear (I must sleep with my jaw relaxed).
-Unable to close mouth properly even w/o the retainer; due to excessive tooth wear and misalignment.
-I no longer trust him.
