The best way I can describe Dr. Buechel is a used car salesman.
He tells you what he thinks you want to hear, but it's all a load of bologna. Dr. Buechel told me it would take 18 to 24 months to complete treatment on my mouth. It's been 37 months, and they're still on my teeth. I've been told about 6 times my braces were coming off in X amount of months, and I've finally decided to switch to a new orthodontist.
I've discussed my concerns about teeth movement, placement, etc. with him multiple times and the most common answer is "it's biology". I'm an adult, not an 8-year old child - it's pretty tough to believe biology is the best answer a qualified and knowledgeable orthodontist could provide a patient. I've also been given answers like 'it's teeth natural tendency to move forward', or when a tooth wasn't moving into place "it's teeth natural tendency to move down". Well, that's not why I'm paying money to have my teeth fixed, is it? Trying to get answers, and MORE IMPORTANTLY RESULTS from Dr. Buechel is like pulling teeth. Unless you want a beat up car with a bunch of issues in a few years, do yourself a favor (and save yourself time and money) and find another orthodontist to fix your teeth.
